Revenge Of An Alpha: Alpha Aaron And His Hateful Mate

I smelled her before I saw her. The smell was too overpowering for me. It was probably because I have used my werewolf strengths in over ten years. I didn’t even activate them right now, it just happened on its own. It was probably the wolf part of me that sensed his mate around.

Now here is a thing about me: I don’t care for mates. I don’t believe in a Goddess. I don’t believe in a werewolf community living in the shadows of God they can’t even see. I don’t believe in old customs and traditions. I don’t believe that some unseeable force chose a soulmate for me. That’s all bullshit. This is why I left. This is why I cut ties with the Pack I was born into. I was supposed to be the next Alpha in line. I didn’t care to be one. For me, being the alpha family of the community was nothing more than a sign of dictatorship. Why should the entire pack bow in front of us? Why consider us kings and queens? What a load of outdated bullshit. I never believed in any of those customs and that’s why I left.

My father was furious with me. He didn’t talk to me for ten long years. My siblings barely ever contacted me, except for my younger brother, Alex. The only people that stayed connected to me and the ones I stayed in touch with were Alex and my mother. They would come to visit me, but I never visited them. One, I didn’t want to go back to my old pack, and two, I wasn’t allowed to. I would spoil them with all I could. After all, I made a big name for myself. No one from my Pack ever tried to reach me, even after I became successful – their egos didn’t let them. I was glad that they didn’t even try to lure me back…but it all changed.

It all changed when my pack was attacked. Call me heartless, I wouldn’t have cared if my family weren’t involved. I didn’t like my father. I never had a strong relationship with my brother and sister, but deep down I cared for them. I didn’t show it to them, but I did. They were my family after all. And Mom, and Alex… how could I not care for them – they were the only people I truly ever loved.

The Sage Pack had been attacked a few times before, but since it was one of the strongest Packs in the North, they always defended themselves, until the recent attack. It was brutal. Hundreds of lives ended – including my family’s. My father, Alpha Max, and brother, Jake, were shredded into bits while fighting for the Pack. My sister was raped and killed. My mother. They killed my mother brutally. They burned her alive. Alex. I don’t know where Alex is. He is presumably dead as well, but his body hasn’t been found yet. He was just sixteen. How could they kill him? My mother and sister? They weren’t fighting. They were in their house, like many women and men, all the children, and senior citizens. The attackers crossed the battle area and attacked the innocent members of the Pack, brutally killing them.

I didn’t want to get involved in the Pack matters, but the thirst for revenge did it for me. I did what I never believed I would do. I took an oath as the new Alpha of the Sage Pack, but only till I found all the attackers and gave them the most brutal death possible. And I didn’t care that I smelled my presumed mate among those traitors.

I smelled her as I ran across the forest. She was still in her human form and I wasn’t. I changed into my wolf for the first time in the last ten years. The werewolf in me has taken over since I saw the coffins of my family. Right now, I have no control over my big black wolf. I was so in denial of him, that I didn’t even name him. My wolf was speeding through the woods. I saw her. She was on her feet, trying to run as fast as she could. I had to give it to her. She was fast, but her speed was nothing compared to my wolf’s speed and strength. I could smell the human in her, but I could tell she wasn’t pure human. She is a mixblood. She is half human, half wolf. My wolf groaned and grunted as we reached her. Her smell was overpowering our senses. It was blinding. It was going straight to our heads. I felt a sharp pain in my head as my wolf jumped and pushed her to the ground. The sweet scent. It was sickening, yet so addictive.

She fell to the ground, hitting her head on the rock. She was immediately knocked out. She lay on her stomach on the muddy ground with her face covered with her dirty hair. I could smell blood. She must be bleeding from somewhere. Since I let my wolf take over, my senses heightened. I tried to change into my human form, but I couldn’t control it. I didn’t know how. My wolf caged her under him. He was awfully still. He was growling, but he wasn’t attacking her. She was unconscious. He could have easily ripped her neck off, but he didn’t because we both know she is our mate.

My wolf might care about the fact that she was chosen for him. What bullshit. My human side didn’t care about it. If I could only control my wolf and convert it back to my human form, I would have killed her right there, no matter how much it hurt my wolf. I don’t give a fuck if she is my wolf’s mate! For me, she is nothing, but a murderer!

I am the unwilling Alpha of the Sage Pack, and this bitch under my wolf is my hateful mate whom I would love to give the most painful death.
