My parents

Aurora's POV

 I tried to flick my eyes open but I couldn't, not when I could sense the sun rays burning my skin, I wondered what exactly was happening and where I was.

I finally forced my eyes open and placed a hand on my eyes, shutting out the sun rays that filtered in. 

If I could remember, I had jumped down the cliff after being belittled by Sebastian and finding out the truth from my parents.

"Good morning princess Aurora" I heard two voices greet me in unison and I removed the hands which I had placed on my eyes, sitting upright on the bed I was on.

"Am I in heaven?" I muttered out loud as I gazed at the two women who were standing before me and were dressed in white. 

Their skin was pearly white and it was nothing as I had seen before, I gazed at them with my mouth agape, in admiration. 

"This must be heaven" I concluded as I gazed at the decorations in the room which were white and they were beautiful. 

"Welcome back to Arizona kingdom, princess" one of them had a smile on their face, while the other walked out with a smile on her face. 

"Isn't this heaven?" I asked while blinking my eyes. 

" The queen will have a better answer to that, my princess" she had her head bowed to the ground, refusing to meet my gaze.

"Haha" I chuckled out loud while I was seated on the bed. I was waiting for whoever it was to come and give me an answer. 

"Aurora" I heard rushing footsteps and I turned my attention to the door, which had just been opened. 

I couldn't hold back the tears that had brimmed in my eyes because I knew the truth without being told, I knew what was happening here. 

"You look like me" I finally mustered up the courage to say the word that I had intended to say. 

"Yes," she nodded at me, agreeing with what I had just said. 

" That is because I am your mother" she had a smile on her face, as she sat on the bed that I was on, her scent felt different and I averted my gaze to the ground.

"You are, my daughter, you are a Royal Lycan, you are my blood, my princess, my daughter and I am glad that I have finally found you," 

" Am...am I not dead?" I stuttered as I couldn't believe that I wasn't.

I had felt myself sinking into the water, after I had fallen inside of it, I had felt life drift away from me and I had welcomed death. 

"You aren't dead, my princess" her hands searched for mine and I gave her mine.

"You didn't die in the water, Aurora, you are royalty and that is the reason why you didn't die" the woman who had introduced herself as my mother said. 

I pulled my hand away, standing up abruptly from the bed that I was on, everything was happening so fast and I was finding it hard to listen to it all at once. 

" I don't believe what you have just said, I am not even one of you, we might have the same face but that doesn't mean you are my mother,'' I screamed at her. 

I was at a loss, why was I made to go through so much when my real parents were still alive? Why was it that they only found me when I was at my lowest?

"I do not believe you, I do not believe you" I said firmly.

" Here" she stood up and walked to the side that I was on, handing me a paper. 

"You are my mother," I said to her with a shock-filled expression. I took a step closer and let her pull me into her arms, caressing her blonde hair. 

"Mother, can I call you that?" I asked, amidst tears, I felt relieved that I had finally seen my parents.  

"Yes, call me mother, you are finally with us Aurora, you are finally home after so long," I wiped the tears that had brimmed underneath her eyes as I pulled away from her arms.

"Your father found you through your royal scent which is common just among us royals, your father loves you endlessly and he wants you to know that" she gazed at the door. 

There stood my father, clothed in black with pearls on his robe and I wondered how exactly I couldn't find the two women who were here with me earlier on. 

"Aurora" I could see the tears that threatened to drop and I was finding it hard to stay calm already.

Although I was loved by my foster parents they had kept the truth from me, they had done what they shouldn't have and when I found out, it shattered me. 

"I am here now, Father, I am here with you" I felt like I have known them for ages now and I was comfortable with them. 

" I am sorry that I couldn't find you earlier, I searched everywhere. Your mother and I searched all over the world for you but we didn't find you" he said as he approached me. 

" You were given to us by Selina and now, she has brought you back, do not leave us anymore Aurora, our life wasn't the same when you did" my mother's hand intertwined with mine. 

" I wouldn't mother, I wouldn't" I reassured her while trying as hard as I could not to cry because I didn't want them to. 

I let down the tears, letting them flow. I might have lost Sebastian but I have gotten my parents, and I have gotten what I wanted.

I have everything that I needed and I was going to utilize everything that I have to get justice for Aurora who had been belittled. 

I was going to show him not to belittle anyone else. My mother and father stood by my side watching me intensely. 

"I don't know what to do, father, I do not know what to do mother, I thought that I would find peace after jumping down from the cliff" I bared out my mind to them. 

"You were my greatest gift, I can still remember how happy I was when your mother gave birth to you" I heard my father say gently to me.

" Your father threw the biggest party Arizona Kingdom has ever known when you were born, he was so happy until the day you went missing"

" The whole Kingdom was thrown into darkness because you went missing with your Nanny who you were supposed to be in her care,"

" Your father," my mother gazed at my father. 

" He turned the kingdom while searching for you but there was no sight of you anywhere, I was inconsolable for years, and so was he but he never showed it," 

" Your father needed to be a king and he needed to be strong for the kingdom, I am happy that you are back to me, my little girl, do not ever leave me" she pleaded. 

" I wouldn't leave you, mother, I wouldn't leave you, father, your little girl is home" I reassured them as I lean into my mother's arm, allowing her to hug me

I was glad, glad that I was a werewolf and I was finally going to prove Sebastian wrong. I was finally going to make him pay for all that he had done.

"I couldn't think straight when your father brought you in, dripping water, why did you jump down the cliff?" My mother's question made me blink severally
