Stanley’s alarm clock went off at 9:00 PM that morning. He struck the button at the top of the clock turning off the buzz. When that didn’t work, he slammed his fist down, knocking the clock on the floor. Stanley stood, stretching. He walked over to the window. Morning sun ricocheted off of his smooth, bare chest. Edwards slipped into the armchair confronting the intermediate screen. He took the bottle of Coke aside the monitor. Having a mouth watering sip, acid effects trailed down the back of his throat. He halted, eyes fastened to the left screen. He put the Coke onto the table, leaned forward, peering into monitor.A woman stood in the lobby’s center.At first, Edwards thought it was Jennifer, but the body too tall and skinny to be the woman cop. Friday, January twenty-ninth, Atlanta, Georgia had its share of strollers, although the broadcast still freezing with sleet, for Executioner, the night remained youthful.He pulled the wool cap closer to his eyelids. Transporting a large backpack bouncing against his back, his steel toe boots trampled the ice forcing it into fragments. Besides, elected government officials such as Judges, law enforcement officers, CIA and FBI agents, issued wipe outs.
