Chapter 19: Doubt

David's POV:

Six years ago.......

Through the lush green forest, the wind blew peacefully through my whole body. The howls of our clan proudly shout as if to call the gods. A starless night yet it seems the whole surrounding is as bright as it was in the day.

"Don't stay too long outside, David. You're still a puppy you might get blown by the night breeze hahaha..." The first shifters laughed as soon as Holo finished his insults. For an Alpha, I was a bit small and wimpy. That's why my father works so hard to keep our place as the leader of the clan by fighting off contenders. One day I will inherit it all that's why I'm also trying hard to keep up.

I went outside to run beside my father, as the first shifters recently showed up. He was training them since it will be difficult for them. I was still ten years old and could barely keep up with their stamina.
