Everly POV
Theodore hasn’t left me alone in the past hour. His hands were always on me, especially when Killian came back to where we were standing to tell us that Christian managed to run away. He probably found a different way out because none of the guys outside saw him leave, and they were all shocked that they couldn’t find him. The building is being swept from one corner to the other. No one goes or out without Killian saying.
“Let’s go home. I’ve got something to show you”, Theodore says, and I look at him and shake my head. Just because he saved my life doesn’t mean I am willing to forget how he treated me before.
