When Aldo texted last night he told me his birth father’s parents had come from Boston, they are getting old and have health stuff going on. They didn’t think they could have children and had given up long before conceiving his father so when his parents died they were glad that the Reeds wanted to adopt him, but have kept in touch and try to visit at least once or twice a year. He promised to visit them in Boston from time to time and would like me to join him when he goes.
