Chapter 1

While carrying her stuff she headed straight into the forest. None of the Werewolf guards stopped her as she left the Castle gates.

She continued walking, unafraid of the darkness for she thrived in it.

Using Vampire Speed, she quickly rushed through the pathway until she reached her destination. Deeper into the forest away from onlookers.

She first took the diary out and read the instructions.

Taking the scepter into her hand, she ran her hand into the blade. As the blood dropped, she started chanting.

After chanting, she then slammed it into the ground.

It took some time for quiet to break between the two of them. It caused her to begin to wonder if she had made a mistake in the first place. When the ground began to split open, she was thrilled that all of her hard work and patience had finally paid off, and she jumped for joy.

A gateway appeared out of nowhere and was swiftly opened.

She enthusiastically rushed in and took a seat, full of self-assurance.

The location looked just what she had pictured hell to be like all of her life. Fire and furnaces blazed everywhere, and the screams of anguished souls could be heard from miles away. Eventually, she came to a massive black cave. She continued trekking.

The cave was surrounded by dead bodies, which were strewn around. Their deformed bodies revealed that they had been subjected to this treatment by a merciless beast. The odor was awful, and the atmosphere was infused with an eerie sense of foreboding.

After walking inside the cave and entering, she saw that it was teeming with demons of every kind. They all came to a halt, their eyes hungry for her. She, on the other hand, gave each one who sought to get close to her a piercing glare that promised punishment, and she showed them the scepter, which caused them to back away in amazement. She held the key to their liberation in her possession of the scepter. They all fantasized of having the freedom to explore the planet and being able to consume the different delicacies prepared by humans, vampires, and werewolves, among other things.

A little farther into the cave, there was a large golden royal chair, and seated on it was none other than the new demon king, the son of the former demon king who had been killed in the previous fight.

With his bloodshot eyes, you had the impression that you were staring directly into the eyes of the devil himself. He was not in his genuine monster shape; instead, he took on the persona of a gorgeous, wealthy human businessman in order to appeal to her sensibilities. It appears that he had detected her presence in hell, his realm, and was aware that the woman was on her way to visit him.

The demon king spoke in wonder while looking at the scepter with avarice in his wicked eyes; he would have preferred to kill the woman and steal the scepter if he had the opportunity. Unfortunately, when employed by a demon, the scepter was rendered ineffective. As a result, he need her assistance.

"I'm here to offer you the opportunity to be free." The woman, who had been taken aback by his look, suddenly yelled. She had anticipated to be speaking with a monstrous creature rather than a well-dressed gentleman with an expensive black suit, black slicked hair, and red shoes, but she was wrong.

"And what do you want in exchange, Vampire?" the demon king said after rising from his seat and pacing around the lady who held the Scepter and the key to his release from this hellhole prison.

It is incumbent upon you to assist me in making them all pay. I want their world to go up in flames. For them to go through the same agony I went through when he rejected me for her. With a blaze of wrath burning in her eyes, she responded to him in kind. It seemed as though she had an insatiable need for vengeance.

"That is something I can easily assist you with. "I really like causing turmoil and wrecking people's lives," says the author. The demon King suddenly burst out laughing, his voice nasty and ominous.

"We've reached an agreement."

"Yes let's cause as much chaos as possible!"

Some sort of an instrument was playing as I entered into the forbidden wing. The fear I felt seemed to melt away once my mind plugged into the beautiful tune. I stood there mesmerized, and then the sound propelled me forward. There was a big guy sitting in the shadows. He was playing a flute, low and melodic.

I did not say anything, looking to prolong the spell. My eyes grew moist because I felt homesick. The music reminded me of long summer days in Louisiana. It felt like I was a lone survivor in the huge city. It was liberating and frightening.

Sensing my presence, he stopped playing the flute and turned, pinning me with his intense gaze. The time stood still before I took a step back in horror. It was the same creature who attacked wolves and saved me last night. I wished I were dreaming. This felt like a nightmare.

I forgot to breathe as I took in his ugliness in one glance. Hair covered his arms, legs, and his face. He was shirtless. There was a bandage over his wound, which could not hide his completely hairy body like an animal.

The creature in front of me was not a human. His eyes were large, red, and terrifying. His mouth wide and gross.

“You are the King,” I stated. The dawning realization was too much. My heart was about to burst. I clutched my chest, even wondered if I was having a heart attack.

Sure, the fear was present like a dull ache, but the overwhelming emotion was revulsion. I was not proud of my reaction, but I could not help being repulsed.

He stood there, not moving, his eyes taking my body in, which made me feel dirty.

“You are Be King,” I repeated loudly, a hysteria building inside me. “You are my husband. I can’t believe this. What is this world? I need to get away. I need to go home.”

When I tried to turn and run, I stumbled. My stupid, clumsy feet.

He stepped forward to comfort me because I could not stop shaking, but I stepped back. Even the thought of his touch revolted me.

He stilled, his hands falling to his side uselessly.

“Yes, I am the beast you married,” he said, his voice strong and masculine, which surprised me a little. I thought he would sound monstrous instead of so—male.

“What do you think is going to happen, dear husband?” I asked. My voice could cut glass. “You think I will be your dutiful little wife who is going to perform my womanly duties. Then we will have children, live happily ever after. Is that what you think?”

“Queen Nia. It is not—”

“Look at you.” I was in a zone as I pointed with my finger. “You are disgusting. No woman would ever want to sit next to you let alone do . . . intimate things.”

“I know,” he said in a low voice and.

“You are beyond ugly. You are a beast. I do not think you are worthy of dirt under my shoe.”
