Chapter 5

I first dropped Wendy off at her school, which was a fortunate thing for me since it meant I wouldn't be attending the same high school as that brat because she hadn't yet reached high school.

I immediately parked my vehicle, and to my surprise, the parking lot was completely empty, indicating that I had arrived late. I also saw a limo pulling away from the school gates, which indicated that my target had arrived.

After realizing that I was at a school full of werewolves, I wanted to take use of my vampire speed to race to the reception area and pick up my class schedule, but I refrained.

Any vampire that is discovered will be slain on the spot because of the nature of this location. Fox town was the location of the largest wolf pack, as well as the alpha king and prince of the wolves that lived there. The prince's residence was located in this section of town, which was apart from the king's residence and the werewolf castle.

It was said that the werewolf prince had moved out of the palace and was living on his own for a time until he was elevated to the position of King.

The exact location of the castle remained a mystery to us vampires at the time. Because witches work for both werewolves and vampires, they utilized a concealment spell to remain hidden.

Before I came, a strong witch cast a spell on me, causing me to seem human to all magical beings, with the exception of vampires, until I arrived.

The scent of human flesh had returned, my fangs were indestructible, and if I shed tears, they would be transparent rather than blood red. As a result, I suddenly had a quick heart beat instead of the sluggish heart beat that vampires had to have in order to make them age slowly.

In a school full of werewolves, I was going to be the only human on campus. The previous individuals were constantly moved since they did not fit in with the rest of the group. The werewolves want to use their abilities without restriction, but a human who attended their school stood in their way. Bullying that individual until he or she leaves the school was typically the most effective way for them to get rid of him or her.

Unfortunately, the witch was unable to transform me into a werewolf, so the only choice was to appear as a human. The fact that I was wearing nerdish glasses and could feel my braces was intentional; I wanted to be recognized as the weak, timid, and geeky girl, and my uninteresting attire contributed to that goal.

The reason I picked that role was that no one would accuse me of injuring the werewolf prince since I was a weak and innocent human being at the time. Instead of going in as my vampire self and killing all the werewolves that stood in my way of killing the werewolf prince, it would have been simpler if I had simply budged in as my vampire self.

Nonetheless, even I was unable to kill hundreds of werewolves on my own without allowing the werewolf prince to flee, so going incognito was the only option available to me.

I felt my silver knife in my pocket as I was getting my vehicle keys out of my pocket. I wasn't sure whether I was going to use it today or not, but first and foremost, I needed to assess the circumstance in question. I intended to learn all I could about the werewolf prince's security system, and when the opportunity presented itself, I was going to strike.

The werewolf prince was very strong, and many highly talented vampires had failed to kill him because of this. If I was successful, I would be the greatest werewolf hunter and most revered vampire queen in history, since many highly experienced vampires had failed to kill him.

In addition, I would make my mother proud since she had wished for our family to avenge her murder, and by killing the prince, I would become the new successor to the kingdom of the werewolves, something she had wished for as well. They were going to pay, since I was going to make them all suffer as a result of their queen's transgression.

I rushed to the reception desk to collect my class schedule as soon as possible.

The following is your classroom schedule, Mrs. Amelia Williams. Please go to your next class as soon as possible since you are running behind." After smelling my false human perfume, the receptionist spoke something fast to me, and she appeared kind, but I could tell she was astonished that I was human after smelling my fake human aroma.

As soon as I looked at my class schedule, I headed directly to Math class. After walking through a slew of classrooms, I was eventually able to locate the door and, using my vampire scent, I was able to detect an entire class full of werewolves, including the instructor, who was also a werewolf.

When I answered the door, I was welcomed by a tall, bald guy wearing nerdish glasses similar to mine, and I quickly understood that he was my math instructor.

"Oh, there's another another latecomer. I hope you have a solid explanation for why your young girl was late to class "He stated this in a firm voice while looking me in the eyes with seriousness.

At the same time he was saying this, the whole class was staring at me, trying to figure out who the new girl was, which was ideal for my acting abilities.

"I'm sorry, sir, but I got a little lost since I'm new." As I glanced down at my feet, I pretended to be bashful and mumbled something else. To reveal the truth about myself, the genuine myself Princess Amelia was not bashful and would have left this instructor stunned if she hadn't been forced to play the role, but I had to do my best.

When he realized he'd forgotten, he apologized and glanced around the room at the rest of his classmates. "I'd want you all to meet the new student, Miss Amelia Williams... and I hope you all offer her a warm welcome." "I'd like you all to meet the new student, Miss Amelia Williams..." He added the last paragraph after realizing I was a human being.

While I was seeking for a seat, I could hear the werewolf kids talking things to one other, which I could hear since I had vampire hearing "She is a person with feelings. What exactly does she do at this school?"

"She's not going to stay long here."

This was ideal for me since it was exactly what I wanted people to believe.

As soon as I arrived, I took a seat next to a good girl with blonde hair who appeared kind enough since she had welcomed me there, as opposed to her other classmates who were already laying their bags on their chairs and sneering at me when I arrived. Because I was a human person, I was being viewed as an outsider by the rest of society.

When I turned around, I saw three kids in the back of the room making googly eyes at each other and they seemed to be over over heels in love, implying that they were soulmates.

We vampires referred to them as soulmates, whilst werewolves referred to them as mates. A soulmate was someone who was created just for you and another part of yourself. That is why my father was an empty shell, since without your partner, you felt incomplete and unfinished in life.

My mother died on the same day that a piece of my father perished as well. He would have murdered himself, but he wanted to fulfill her dying wish of vengeance before committing himself.

It was necessary for soulmates to identify each other on the male's unique birthday, when he had received all of his abilities, in order for him to be able to defend his soulmate.

Fortunately, I hadn't discovered my soulmate yet, which meant he was still in the process of getting his abilities, which was OK with me since I had other issues to deal with at the time, such as some filthy mutts to get rid of in the wake of my mother's death.

I glanced around for the werewolf prince but couldn't locate him, which indicated that his royal Wolfness was either late or did not arrive at all, based on the vacant chair in the rear corner of the classroom.

He's called "Hmm...His Royal Wolfness," which I think is a nice name. I smugly thought to myself at the time.
