It's been a few months and Alana just entered her second trimester. The nursery was set up and everything that the baby needed are already prepared. As for the husbands, they've become much closer and Ambrose has become much clingier. It baffled Matthew at first, but he wasn't complaining. Matthew later woke up with a pounding headache. Luckily a nurse was already there to assist him. The nurse handed him a glass of water before asking him how he was. A few more months have passed and Ambrose still hasn't woken up despite being much more responsive than before. Matthew was slowly losing hope and he was starting to accept that Amrbsoe may no longer be part of their life. He was getting overwhelmed with taking care of two infants as well. Melanie, Lucas, and Michael have come over a few times to offer help whenever he had to be present at work.Melanie suggested hiring a nanny but Matthew was scared that he might end up being too complacent with the nanny and slowly neglect his duties as a father. As his work and children became more demanding, he finally caved and hired two after rigorous background checks. The next day came and Matthew decided to take a week off so he sent the nannies on a week-long break after today. He wanted to go with their parents to go and visit Ambrose now that he was awake. Melanie also voiced her worries about how they were going to tell Ambrose that his sister is gone. Matthew feels guilt about Alana's death. He kept thinking that maybe Alana was just carrying one child, she may have survived. He's scared that once Ambrose gets caught up with everything, he'll hate him. He already lost him once, he's scared that he'll lose him again once he's fully recovered.
