Chapter 41

What seemed warm and bright and was striking on my face awoke me from my deep slumber.

I groaned in annoyance as I tried to move around or cover my closed eyes with my hands, but for some unknown reason, my body felt heavy, so moving even for a tiny bit irritated me. And it's not only my body that is feeling heavy; so are my eyes.

My eyes remained closed as my forehead knotted, and I couldn't help but groan once more.

I really don't want to wake up yet, not only because of what’s going on with my body but also because I am still sleepy, and for an unknown reason again, I feel really tired even though I just woke up.

But that warm and bright feeling on my face just wouldn't go away, so even if I wanted to go back to dreamland, that bright feeling wouldn't let me, forcing me to be fully awake.

With a still-creased forehead, I groggily opened my eyes with my heavy hands still on top of them to serve as a shield for my eyes from something bright.
