LOGINChapter 2
Noel’s POV
Cheryl Jones. I’d describe her, but I’ll need more advanced wording for the bane of my existence because that’s who she is.
A stuck up vindictive redhead.
Ever since what happened in freshman year, she’d become the goddess of spite and I’d be damned to rule for her mercy.
“Is she coming?” I questioned when Dan arrived in our midst.
“She’s now invited, but I doubt she’ll show up since you aren’t hosting,” Dan responded as he went to take his spot beside Finn.
We’re five in number and we’re all best buddies. We’ve been like that for as long as I can remember.
Jace was the last to join us, and that’s because he didn’t show up until the first year of middle school.
“What’s your plan for her now?” Nick quizzed with curiosity that had others peaking their gazes at me.
“Get her high and naked? That’d be so fun and the ultimate comeback!” Finn added, his idea as outrageous as his entire personality.
“You guys have been at it for so long now. I’m starting to think you both are in love,” Jace stated with a shrug, nonchalant as usual.
“Kill that thought,” I cautioned, not minding the sudden switch in my tone at him. Love, me and Cheryl Jones should never be in one sentence. That was a trigger, a deadly one!
I hate that bitch. I hate her so much. She’s nothing but a freak, and I’ll trade my last breath for a nail in her heart.
All I did was have some fun and she refused to let it go.
“I doubt. But they’re about to become siblings-“
“Step-siblings.” I intercepted Dan. The thought of it irking me. “But that’s honestly perfect, gives me the perfect opportunity to make her life more miserable.” I grinned, not at my words but the image of me giving her hell.
“She’s going to graduate high school without a boyfriend or a love story. That’s literally the biggest misery in my opinion,” Finn chipped in, a dramatic sigh at the end of his statement.
Yes, no boys were allowed to ask Cheryl Jones out unless they wanted to be on my bad side. It’s a rule, a general rule that only Cheryl doesn’t know about.
That’s why the kid who handed her an envelope nearly broke his bones if the principal hadn’t stepped in on time.
“She’s about to have the biggest misery of her life tonight at Jenna’s party. She’s going to wish she never picked me as an enemy. It’s high time she’s tamed.” I smirked.
She just has to be there, and the plan will play out by itself.
“Who are you going to the party with?” Dan grilled with suspicion. As if he could tell my plan wasn’t as ordinary as I made it seem.
“That will be a surprise for you all, my buds,” I let out a throaty chuckle.
Oh Cheryl. You thought you had your worst night in freshman year. It’s about time you have a new one.
“Does Jenna know she’s not your date? She’s planning the whole thing for you to bring a different girl to? Yikes…” Dan bulged his eyes.
“Who would you guys be going with? Nick, don’t tell me you’re still involved with that peppermint sub because I swear to you right now that if you are….”
“Calm your flat tits bro, she’s off. I can have fun tonight!” Nick waved at me dismissively.
Her name wasn’t peppermint sub, it's Sophia and ever since she started going out with Nick, she thinks she’s suddenly privileged enough to lecture me on how I run things against Cheryl.
“I’m gonna be crazy as usual. Go alone so I can mess with people’s dates.” Finn said before he broke off into one of his maniacal laughters.
Crazy is an understatement for the kind person he is. He’s batshit crazy and honestly a step away from a mental institute.
Nick is the cool and friendly one, he’s friends with almost everybody and the most approachable one of us.
Jace however, is the complete opposite. He’s neither mean nor grumpy, he’s just always indifferent and doesn’t bother to hide it.
And Dan. Dan is Dan.
I love them all, they’ve been my brothers since I knew them and would be my brothers for life.
“Okay guys, I have to leave,” I told them as I stood up. “Matthew gave me detention so I better skip school before he makes me wait for it,” I added.
“So you seriously won’t tell us your plan for Cheryl? Even if it’s just a hint? Or you’d rather my cause of death be curiosity?” Finn stared at me with a bored look.
“I kinda agree with Finn. I’m curious, what exactly have you planned to do to her tonight?” Dan aided the point.
“I’m not curious or could use a hint. I’m just very sure the plan is going to blow the rest of the school year up,” Jace shrugged, and he was right.
Tonight’s party isn’t just going to be a normal kickback party. It’s Cheryl’s doom. The celebration of her defeat.
“Jace is right. And here is a hint for you all, I’m going to destroy Cheryl permanently tonight, break her into tiny little pieces and leave her traumatized for life. She should consider it my welcome gift for her becoming a part of my household,” I addressed, a sick smile stuck to my lips as I grabbed my school bag.
“I’m out.” I strolled off their midst.
I took out my phone to check in with my messages. I’ve been updated, and it was just a text that everything was all set and ready for tonight.
Perfect.
There’s just one more thing needed for me to get done. And that is to ask my date out to this party tonight.
Fortunately for me, she didn't have the same class with a certain freak until the next period so I was safe enough to corner her as the bell rang for the end of the class.
She whimpered at the sight of me, ready to bury herself to the ground.
“You owe me and it’s time to call in my favor. You’re going to be my date for a party tonight at Jenna’s lake house, say anything of this conversation to Cheryl and you know I’ll make you regret it. Understood?” I raised my brows at her.
She nodded like her head was on fire.
“Good,” I mouthed before walking away from her.
Chapter 10: Kill Him Later. Cheryl’s POV Unbelievable. Totally unbelievable! I can’t believe that jerk. Who does he think he is? So rules doesn’t apply to him when it’s his move, but does and should work for me when it’s my turn. He’s one heck of a dumbass who probably left his brain behind in his mother’s womb.Ugh! I’m so pissed. I wasn’t satisfied with how I left him, I left him merely stunned. I would’ve preferred I left him bawling, agitated and at the verge of exploding. I shouldn’t mess with his friends right? Well, that’s just about the entirety of my revenge plan. He’s gonna curse the day he made me his enemy. I had to skip Mr Turner’s class. I’m too angry and wouldn’t focus on any of his teachings, it’s better I visit the one place I can stay to get my mind off the chaos. The library. There’s this book I’m currently reading, some ancient fantasy romance fiction- and while I’m not an avid reader like many are, I do enjoy reading because it does calm my nerves or whatev
Chapter 9: You Bite, I Chew. Noel’s point of viewI don’t know what that redhead freak is plotting or thinks she can do, but one thing she shouldn’t do is- mess with my friends! I draw the line at interfering my brothers in our messy tangled lives. Now I have no idea what she has on Nick, but I need to get him vindicated. And the first step is to fucking find Nick! Where the hell did he vanish to? I already checked at our spot, his own favorite spot, and other places we’ve hung out. There was only a spot left and it’s beyond the school’s building. I sought out the destination, and relieved when I sighted him sitting alone by the tree’s shade alone. His back was rested against the tree, and his eyes closed like someone lost and deep in his thoughts. “Nick!” I called softly as soon as I arrived at a close range, “Nick!” I proceeded to tap him on his shoulder since he wouldn’t bulge to my callings. His eyes peeled apart, gazing straight at me in a lowered expression. “Look man. I
Chapter 8: Do A Better Job.Cheryl’s point of view I was behind his flat tires. The plan was to mess with the car’s engine and give it a problem, but then I realized I had zilch knowledge on cars so I settled for bursting the tires instead. And that’s just the beginning. He’s going to spend the rest of school year constantly repairing those tires. I’m guessing he’s found out about me and Nick from his words to me earlier. Good, that means the dynamite has been matched. I stood in front of my locker, about to open and remove a book I’ll be needing for my next class which is English. Then I felt her presence. I look to my side and there she was, a cupcake held with both her hands and stretching out for me to cake. It’s chocolate and according to a rule we’ve agreed on, if the both of us ever got in a fight with each other, a chocolate cupcake is expected to be given out by either one of us to reconcile. I glared down at the cupcake, and up at her, then back down at the cupcake. I
Chapter 7 Noel’s POV. A murder was attempted on me. I was pushed into the lake to drown, and I would’ve if Kate hadn’t come to my rescue. She’s part of the school’s swim team. Apparently she’s been in search of me for some reasons and came over when she learnt I was by the lake. Only she met me drowning. She pulled me out, and asked about how I got in. Which was a mystery to the both of us. Someone pushed me. I’m sure of it. I just don’t know who. I later skipped the rest of the night with Kate. She invited me over to her residence because her parents weren’t home and she was kind of alone except for her nanny that randomly checks in on her daily. I’ve been with her ever since that night. She saved my life and I’ve yet to figure out a way to repay her, so my company is sufficing till then. I caught a flu the next day of my dash into the lake and couldn’t go to school. But my friends kept me updated on Freak’s absence and how the school pretty much wouldn’t forget about what ha
Chapter 6: Taste Of A Different Medicine. Cheryl’s point of view Mom and my new stepfather doesn’t need to know the reason why I’ve skipped school for two days in a row and refuse to join them downstairs for any sort of family meal. Though I could have, because ever since he did what he did. He hasn’t stepped foot in this house for the past four days now. Yup that’s right, he skipped his father’s wedding. I also did. I mean it was a court wedding, and there wasn’t a need for me to attend. Albeit I was wanted there, and I had to use my shitty break as an excuse to skip. But they at least knew about my whereabouts. I don’t know about Noel’s. I didn’t bother to ask or was even curious enough to want to know his whereabouts. And quite honestly, I’ve silently prayed to the universe over the past few days that he got hit by a bus and landed in a coma or something. Yeah we’ve gotten to that point. He ruined my life. Why? For the sake of his sick demented amusement. He isn’t just a jer
Chapter 5: Too Far or Too Deep?Noel’s POV You’d think I feel good with everything I did to Freak tonight at the party, but I don’t. I mean I was feeling good until the statement she made before leaving. “Whatever we have going on was always suppose to be between us. Between the both of us only. You didn’t have to make my best friend betray me….” Those words repeatedly stalked my mind. Did I really went too far with tonight? I thought this was our game, to destroy each other. Or maybe she just said that to me so I wouldn’t think about how she got defeated and rather be caught up in a strange trap of guilt. I could’ve truly made her best friend betrayed her like she claimed but I did not. All I did was made her escort me to a party for the sake of the video that was made of us. Sara doesn’t know anything about the video. Only I do. Sara once had a crush on me and thought she’d try her luck. She sent me a box with my favorite chocolate candies, and a letter professing her love.I
