Chapter 8: To Pay For The Past.

Morana’s point of view

I had honestly expected him to agree, to comply and do by my words. Instead, he halted on his path, his movement becoming still.

My statement appearing to get to him, silence drifting between us afterwards with me expecting his voice to modify a response.

His head bent in a swift move, returning back to a straight pose. “You need to heal yourself, follow me back to healer’s house.” His calm tone filed the response, resuming his action of picking back his shirt to bear it on his body.

I got up from the floor where I was, remnants of pain rolling off my system. The attack has never being this heavy, I was unable to breathe and it felt as though a needle was repeatedly stabbing my chest.

Everything felt heated, my skin was on fire, my insides were burning up. Today’s trauma attack was like I have never seen.
