Troublesome Sister

Nella heard what Aubrey said, along with the comments of the people around her, and her face flushed with anger. Not able to do any other things due to her position, she glared softly at Aubrey.

"Unfortunately, I am not you, so I won't do this." Carra just smiled indifferently and said loudly. "I am not at fault for being disfigured and rejected in marriage. Why should I be wronged for the mistakes made by others? What about yourself? Isn't it the people who made mistakes that should amend their ways?"

She looked at Aubrey with piercing eyes. Facing the sharp eyes, Aubrey felt a little flustered, as if the secret she had carefully hidden had been discovered by her sister.

She remembered Carra, who had been so committed in front of her before, but why did she look different now?

She took a few steps forward in anger, raising her hand, and she tried to fan her face. This was her usual action to intimidate the former Carra. Every time Carra saw her raised her hand, she either lowered her head to beg for mercy or shed tears to appear pitiful.

But now Carra was no longer what she used to be.

Aubrey's slap in the face at every turn was really undesirable! Carra thought to herself. She grabbed the hand raised by Aubrey. Her eyes turned cold, and she said slowly. "Sister, with your current physical condition, I think it's better for you to stay quietly in the castle. You don't want to go aroundvstressing yourself now, do you?"

Upon hearing this, Aubrey's face changed slightly. Did her sister know that she was pregnant?

"What's the matter?" At this moment, a male voice sounded from the corridor. Soon, a man in a purple brocade robe, with a long body and a handsome face, walked into the room.

It was Prince Algernon, the son of King Eadwulf. He stared at Carra gloomily, grabbed Aubrey's hand, and asked aloud. "Are you alright?"

When Aubrey saw who the person was, she pitifully yelled. "Prince Algernon, you are here." Before now, she had wanted to break free of Carra's control but couldn't do so. Hence, the second lady said to Prince Algernonce anxiously. "Sir, save me!"

Prince Algernonce frowned and said to Carra. "Carra, what are you doing? As the eldest sister, how can you let your action with your sister go so far!"

Carra smiled and whispered in Aubrey's ear. "If the second sister wants to marry into the Royal Palace smoothly, I suggest you settle down before you marry."

After speaking, she let go of Aubrey's wrist. She smiled at Prince Algernon and said. "Nothing to worry about. Aubrey was not sensible. And I, as the older sister, was giving her some advice so that she could understand things better. Sister, don't you think so?"

Aubrey glared at Carra unwillingly, walked towards Prince Algernon's side, pulled his sleeves, and said, "My dear, let's go."

If she was unmarried and pregnant, her reputation would be ruined. With a Machan woman in particular, reputation meant everything. Well, let alone marrying into the Royal Palace. Maybe she really would spend her lifetime in the temple. Therefore, she had to accept this loss today. But sooner or later, she would get it back. Aubrey thought viciously in her heart.

Prince Algernon was stunned by Carra's smile, and when he recovered, Aubrey was already dragging him away.

On the opposite side of Carra, in Macunum, two men were seated by the windows of a r in the upstairs, watching the scenery. They had the same abundant Lycan elegance and were handsome and truly extraordinary.

The man in the white shirt raised his eyebrows, took a large gulp of the ale mug in his hand, and said jokingly, "Wulfgar, is this who they call your stupid, timid and incompetent future princess? These rumors are becoming less and less credible in my eyes."

The man, on the other side called "Wulfgar," was not sitting on a chair but a wheelchair. As a Lycan, this was really a word. Any injury should have healed immediately. He was dressed in a black garment, which made his face pale and cold. Although sitting in a wheelchair, the aura on his body was a bit more aggressive than the white-clothed man opposite.

He opened his lips lightly and said coldly. "It seems that the strength of Oxa Villa is not as good as before. If Eddard is alive in the sky, he will surely die seeing this."

The man in white was Elmer, the current owner of the mysterious Oxa Villa in Macunum.

As he listened to the man opposite, his face changed slightly, and he shouted to him. "Prince Wulfgar, how pathetic you sound. Your mouth is getting more and more poisonous. Wait and see, I will go and tell your future princess your secrets. All of them. Then, you'll see the strength of my Oxa Villa."

"Don't. I'll take care of things by myself." Prince Wulfgar handed Elmer a warning look of "Don't worry about meddling in my affairs" and whispered, "Chantz."

Immediately after, a gust of wind blew, and in the blink of an eye, a boy of average built was standing expressionless behind prince Wulfgar, silent like a shadow.

"Let's go." As soon as Prince Wulfgar's voice fell, Chantz pushed his wheelchair away and didn't even look at Elmer, who was drinking ale together with them just now.

Elmer was no stranger to the way he got along with his master and servant. He touched his chin, looked at the back of Prince Wulfgar's departure, and looked at Carra, who was walking slowly downstairs, and smiled deeply.

Laughter, the future Machan princess seemed not to be a simple lady after all. It appeared that there could be good shows in the future, and the days ahead would definitely not be as dull and boring as they were now.
