Sienna Cross

The moment he said that, the contract suddenly didn't sound that bad, one thing is for sure I can't go to jail, I can't even go to Court, I can't afford that... I have to pay my mother's hospital's bills.

I already buried my pride so what's left, just a bruised ego I don't want to let go of, I am still trying to cling on to the last string of hope but it seems like it can't hold my weight any longer.

"What will you gain from this Kane" I asked glaring at him, I still don't want to surrender so easily, I don't want to show him how desperate I am, if not he would only use that against me more.

How did I even ended up sleeping with this jerk? How did I even lose that case... I had strong evidence and witnesses.. how the fuck did this jerk turn the table around and let it land hardly on my back, he is the criminal but I am the one taking the hit.

I never realized how fucking corrupt this town's justice system is till now, okay now my blood is boiling, I need a cold shower cause I seriously can't think Straight.

"Satisfaction sweetheart... Satisfaction" his deep amused voice came, I didn't even need to glance at him to know he is smirking, I bit my lower lip out of anger "fuck this" I whispered to myself as I looked at my hands that were shaking a bit.

I sienna Cross am helpless, for the first time in my currently fucked up life I am helpless, this is so funny, everything still feels like a fucking funny nightmare that I won't wake up from anytime sooner.

"Don't think too much Counselor, just agree to it and move into the mansion" Maddox muttered as he slowly sat back down and crossed his legs showing me who is in power.

My heart was pounding against my chest out of anger, my body was shaking my breathing a bit shallow, it feels like the weight of the entire world has been placed on my head.

"I have conditions though" I stated still not willing to surrender without a fight, Maddox crooked his brows as his amused smirk grew wider, he sat up as his dangerous eyes studied my entire body.

"Stop that" I shouted obviously annoyed by what he was doing, he chuckled sitting back down "I just wanted to make sure you are even worth dropping the charges talkless of accepting some conditions" he replied he was talking so casually as if he wasn't insulting me.

I laughed angrily throwing my head back "you dum..." I bit back the curses remembering who is currently in control "you can't talk like that about my body, I am every man's dream" I shouted placing my hands on my hips.

Maddox also laughed a bit before his dangerous cold eyes met mine again "who made you believe that counselor?" He questioned his voice had a hint of mockery... Not a hint actually his voice was full of mockery.

"Are.." again I bit back the curses "I would state the conditions if you won't agree to them I would leave" I threatened sounding as serious as I could, Maddox didn't say anything so I started speaking "first of all you can't order me around, secondly you have to keep a distance away from me, thirdly" I was cut off by Maddox "why do you think you are staying here then counselor, just for me to be looking at your face?" He questioned.

I glared at him realizing the real reason he wants me here, so he can order em around like an obedient little puppy "so you won't agree to them" I questioned making it sound more like a threat.

"Why should I agree to that when I have nothing to lose counselor, I think you have forgotten you are the one in the tight spot not me" Maddox stated his low voice dipping lower.

That's it, I have officially lost this fight "how can I trust that you won't fire another charge against me after 3 months?" I questioned, this is all I can resort to anyway, I need to get a guarantee he won't go back on his words.

"I don't go back on my words sweetheart", I chuckled, as if I would believe that especially coming from a monster like him, "we should put that into writing" I suggested finally walking over and sitting on the sit facing his.

I am used to standing for long in courts but I am unbelievably tired today, Maddox was quiet for a while, I thought he wouldn't agree then I would confirm the bastard was just planning to toy around with me.

"Okay then..you can bring the contract when you are moving in" he stated as he slowly sipped from his cup, I nodded before I stood up again "I would get going then" I stated eager to just get of her and to get this man out of my sight before I do something that would really get me locked up this time.

I can't believe I just agreed to such an unfair contract, and of all people I have to stay under the same roof with, it had to be him Maddox Kane, my biggest nemesis, I would find a way out of this, I would clear my name soon then I would show him what I Sienna Cross is capable of.

"Move in before 4 in the Evening" he ordered his voice lower and more serious than usual he stood up before he sipped from the cup again, I was about to tell him not to order me around when my eyes landed on his hard abs.... And for some reason.... Some reasons a lump formed in my throat, and my mouth was starting to get a bit watery as if I was looking at some delicious.

Wait what are you thinking sienna get a hold of yourself, I shook away that thought and looked up looking directly into his cold ones, "you can keep looking at my abs you know, cause you will be seeing them a bit more often from now on" Maddox muttered as a evil cold smirk curved up his lips.
