I was at my locker, so was everyone. The principal along with some staffs began the search, my locker was clean, but they found it in her locker.

"I didn't put it in there principal Valencia" Barbie began explaining.

"we would discuss this in my office" the principal said. Then a video was played on our notice screen.

It showed how Barbie and Jasper was putting the money in Barbie's locker, I wonder who made that video. "to my office now!"

But then something else happened, Tracy came out with Julie and Julia and knelt down in front of the principal. "Miss Valencia, Barbie is innocent, it was Lucy who stole the money, and blackmailed me to Halo her create that fake video" Tracy began.

"yes, she wanted to pay Barbie back for

Chapter 55: The Sketch (Liam’s POV) --- It started with a mess. I’d been trying to sort through my paintings to decide which ones to keep in the museum display rotation and which ones to pack away. The apartment was filled with canvases—stacked against walls, leaned up by the windows, even some on the floor because I’d run out of space. I told myself I was cleaning, but really, I was hiding. From her. From Barbie. Ever since the kiss at the museum, I’d been a shadow of myself. I hadn’t planned to kiss her. I didn’t go in thinking, today’s the day. It just… happened. Like gravity had tilted in her direction and I couldn’t stop it. But then that artist showed up, and everything shifted. And I panicked. --- Avoiding her was easy in theory. Our schedules were different, and I buried myself in paint and canvases like they were armor. I left the apartment early, came back late, and when we did cross paths, I kept my words brief and my eyes even briefer. Because I didn’t know wha

Chapter 54: Sorting Through the Storm (Barbie’s POV) --- The rain started just after lunch. Not a heavy downpour, just a light, persistent drizzle that misted the windows and made everything feel like a slow-motion movie. I watched it from the couch, legs tucked under me, a soft blanket around my shoulders, and a warm mug of cocoa in my hands. Lucy and Dolly were in the kitchen, whispering about something—probably trying not to overwhelm me again—but I wasn’t really listening. For the first time in days, I felt something that almost resembled peace. Then the doorbell rang. Lucy looked up. “You expecting someone?” I shook my head. Dolly peeked out the window and grinned. “It’s Jake.” Before I could stand, she had opened the door and let him in, umbrella in hand and a soft smile on his face. “Hey, sunshine,” he said to me. I rolled my eyes at the nickname, but I didn’t hate it. --- He didn’t say much at first. Just set his umbrella down, took off his jacket, and sat besid

Chapter 53: The Breaking Point (Barbie’s POV) --- I hadn’t left my room all day. The curtains were drawn, casting a soft, eerie dimness over my bed, desk, and the untouched sketchbook lying open next to me. The pages fluttered slightly from the breeze of the ceiling fan, but I hadn’t moved to close it. I couldn’t. My body felt like it had forgotten how to function. Liam still hadn’t spoken to me. Jasper was texting. A lot. Ethan had tried to check in after our awkward conversation days ago, but I ignored him too. The silence was deafening. Lucy had knocked earlier in the morning, bringing tea and toast, but I didn’t answer. I heard her talking softly through the door, telling me she was here for me when I was ready. Then Dolly had texted to say she loved me and hoped I was okay. But even her bubbly affection couldn’t penetrate the heavy fog sitting on my chest. Lucy stayed with me after Dolly had left. They both said I needed a company, and truth be told, I really ne

Chapter 52: Barbie Fights with Liam (Barbie’s POV) --- It was the silence that woke me. Not the kind of silence that brings peace—but the one that hums with unspoken tension, loud and deafening in its stillness. The apartment felt cold that morning, not because of the weather, but because Liam hadn’t said a single word to me since last night. He hadn’t come back to the living room after walking out. I didn’t see him before bed. His door had remained closed. Locked. I shuffled into the kitchen, my hair still tangled from sleep, wearing Liam’s old hoodie—the one he had let me borrow last winter. It smelled like paint and cinnamon and him. I held the sleeves close to my hands as I poured coffee into a mug, letting the warmth sink into my fingers. Jasper and Ethan were out for the weekend, thank God, but that meant it was just the two of us now. Trapped. With all this tension. I stared out the window above the sink, the early morning sun hitting the glass in soft gold hues. Maybe

Chapter 51: Barbie Kisses Jasper Again, Now Unsure of What She Wants (Barbie’s POV) --- It had been a long day. The sun had dipped below the horizon, leaving the sky painted in shades of purple and orange. I sat in my usual spot on the couch, my legs pulled beneath me, eyes glued to the screen of my phone. I had texts from everyone, a constant reminder of how my life felt like it was spiraling in every direction. There was school, and the looming presence of decisions I had yet to make. Then there was Ethan—still trying to worm his way back into my life after everything he and I had been through. But the one text that made my stomach twist wasn’t from him. It was from Jasper. “Hey, you doing okay? I miss you.” I hadn’t replied yet. I was too lost in my own head, thinking about the mess of emotions I’d been hiding for so long. What was it about Jasper that kept pulling me in, no matter how hard I tried to fight it? The chaos we had once shared—his laugh, his easy confidence, the

  • SEDUCED BY MY ROOMMATES   CHAPTER 50

Barbie’s POVThe sky outside our classroom window was a dull gray, like the clouds were holding their breath, waiting for something. I felt the same way. A strange restlessness had been building inside me since morning, like I was on the edge of something, but I didn’t know what.It had been days since Ethan told me he’d broken things off with Zoe, and Liam had been distant ever since. We hadn’t talked since that night on the porch. His avoidance stung more than I expected, more than I wanted to admit.“Are you okay?” Lucy nudged me gently as we packed up our things.“Yeah. Just tired,” I lied, forcing a small smile. She didn’t push, just gave my shoulder a reassuring squeeze before heading out with Dolly.I lingered in the hallway, staring at my phone. I hadn’t heard from Jasper since his last call from London, but something in me hoped, irrationally, that maybe—Ding! My phone buzzed with a message. My heart did a somersault when I saw the name.Jasper: Guess who just landed?Barbie

  • SEDUCED BY MY ROOMMATES   CHAPTER 49

Barbie's POV I was really hungry when I woke up today. So I went downstairs to get something to eat. Thank God it was the weekend, cus I didn't feel like going school today, if it was a school day. The moment I stepped out of my room, I could feel the tension in the air. Then I knew something was wrong. I heard Ethan get back yesterday, i just hope he would avoid me, i don't want early morning drama. He was already waiting in the living room, sitting on the couch like he had something heavy weighing on him. His elbows were resting on his knees, and his eyes looked like he hadn’t slept in days. My stomach twisted. What was he doing here? I thought he was now leaving with his mum. "Barbie," he said quietly, standing when he saw me.I crossed my arms, not sure what to expect."I broke up with Zoe."I blinked. Just like that? No lead-up? No explanation? He stepped closer, eyes pleading. "It’s over. I told her it wasn’t real. That I couldn’t pretend anymore."I held his gaze, trying to

Ethan’s POVThe sun was setting in a lazy sprawl over Zoe’s backyard, casting golden shadows across the pristine basketball court. Zoe stood in the middle of it, dribbling the ball between her legs, her ponytail bouncing with each swift movement. She was practicing hard for the upcoming tournament, her focus laser-sharp—until she saw me. She asked me to come and watch her as she was practicing, I really hated this girl.“You’re early,” she said, jogging over, wiping sweat from her brow. Her smile was bright, her skin glistening from exertion, but I couldn’t return her enthusiasm.“I needed to talk to you,” I said, shoving my hands deep into the pockets of my jeans. My voice was tight. Nervous. Final.Zoe stilled, brow furrowing. “Okay… what’s wrong?”I hesitated for a second, then blurted it out. “I can’t do this anymore.”The ball slipped from her fingers, hitting the ground with a loud thud before rolling away.“What are you talking about?” she asked, her voice calm but icy.“I me

  • SEDUCED BY MY ROOMMATES   CHAPTER 47

Today was Saturday, the day Liam was supposed to go display his art works at the museum. He asked me to come with him which I agreed willingly. When we got to the museum, the museum was quieter than I expected. Morning sunlight filtered through the glass-paneled ceiling, giving everything a soft glow. I followed Liam through the wide hallway, his hand occasionally brushing against mine, sending jolts of something warm and electric through me. He looked calm, collected—but I knew him well enough now to catch the nervous flicker in his eyes. Any one would be nervous in this situation. “I still can’t believe they let me exhibit here,” Liam said, his voice low and unsure. “It doesn’t feel real.”“You deserve it,” I told him honestly. “Every piece you made…it’s a part of you.”He glanced at me, and his lips curved into a shy smile. “Coming from you, that means everything.”I bit the inside of my cheek, my stomach twisting as we walked past a line of frames, his art displayed proudly on
