Chapter 12

Amelia’s world collapsed to her feet when Alexander disappeared from the scene. He didn’t care, neither did he spare her another glance.

One stood at the corner with a smirk on her face. She was the only one who stayed there to witness Amelia’s punishment. Other ladies had retreated to the quarters since they were unable to stay and watch the scene.

The security guards finally grabbed Amelia, who was crying profusely. They laid her on the platform, with her back facing them and almost immediately, they first stroke landed on her back.
