From the car where she sat, Amelia glanced at the young man, who tapped on the steering of his Rolls-Royce Sweptali, smiling widely and swinging his body to the music that blared from his music player.
For some reasons she couldn't decipher, his car window glasses were rolled down in such a way that people outside would catch a little glimpse of him. He had designers sunshades on and everything about him smelt of wealth and class. He looked young, vibrant and fulfilled. Not only that, he just got a deal worth over two million dollars.“Dear car, I love you, but I guess I need a change”, Alexander said to his car and broke into loud laughter. He had just purchased the car some months ago, but he was beginning to get tired of it. The car was worth thirteen million dollars and that was only a tip of an iceberg, compared to what he had laying in his account. The traffic suddenly heightened and all the cars came to an abrupt stop. Amelia observed how many people stared at his car and got lost in sight of it, together with people walking who took a pause to wish they could own a ride like his. With the little thing Amelia noted from his appearance, she was certain that he was living an ultimate life.“What the hell is this traffic for?” Alexander asked in exasperation and slowly gazed out of the driver side window. He poked his head out of the window, in a bid to catch a glimpse of the reason for the unusual traffic. A loud hiss escaped his lips when he couldn’t place his hands on anything tangible. He was at the verge of rolling up the window when he caught sight of something.Someone in a car parked next to him rolled down the passenger side window as though they wanted to talk to him.He scrunched his brows in confusion, wondering if he was only making fake conclusions. And then, he saw a face that radiated even though it was night. He concluded that she was the daughter of a rich man and without having any more thoughts, he rolled up his window.Amelia gulped down hard when she saw him driving off. For the first time in her life, she wished that one of the numerous scenes she watched in movies would surface in her life. She needed someone to save her, and she wanted that person to be the handsome young man inside the Rolls-Royce.Her thoughts were interrupted by the loud and baritone voice of the man who was still driving.“I understand that you are exhausted. I wonder what could be the reason for the traffic”, he said and sighed deeply.Amelia remained mute and that was when something struck her brain.Traffic…She quickly sat up, staring at the man, whose gaze was focused on the road. She darted her eyes to the right and caught sight of the car she had seen earlier. It was now a distance away.“Run!” That was the only voice she heard in her head. She closed her eyes for a second, taking in quick breaths and getting ready to try something she never thought she would in her life.Just before the car moved forward, she leapt out of it and took to her heels.Alexander’s car screeched and came to a stop after his eyes met a hand furiously tapping on his driver side window. He looked back immediately and saw the lady he had earlier seen inside the car. On the other hand, the car was swerving around and trying to catch up with her in the traffic.Amelia kept running, looking back at intervals and hoping that she wasn’t chased by the man. She was certain that he couldn’t run, but she would rather not think that he had no other plans or options. Her eyes were transfixed on the Rolls-Royce that was now standing still. The traffic was fierce again and all the cars had come to another stop. She looked back and saw that everywhere looked quiet, apart from the unnecessary honking coming from impatient drivers.Amelia stopped running when she approached the car for a second time. It was an expensive car, and she only hoped that the owner would have a nice heart.“Please, help me!” Emily banged her hands on the window the moment she got to the car.She was breathing heavily and swiftly looking around. That old man back there was too serious with her. He would never let her go without a fight, and she knew it.“Help me! Please”, she shouted again, tapping the window and hoping that the person inside would bless her with a gaze.Alexander was shocked to his bones as he glanced at the beautiful lady who was pleading for help.Inasmuch as he wanted to help and know what the problem was, he would rather not do that at the expense of his reputation and social status. At this, he returned his gaze to the road, hoping that the traffic would clear off soon enough. He needed to get away from the strange, beautiful lady who smelt like trouble. His car was tinted, and this made it difficult for Amelia to ascertain if he stared at her for a second. She was losing hope at this point because her dream of getting saved by this young man was beginning to get blurry.“Please”, she muttered with the last strength she could find, and she looked back to see two men clad in black suit, hastily walking towards her.“If you don’t help me, they would take me”, Amelia said and finally, resigned to fate. The strange man inside the car was never going to help her. She sighed deeply as every urge to run swirled out of her heart. “This is my fate”, she said in finality, and decided to wait for the two men.Alexander had made up his mind to leave, but had to rethink when he saw two men approaching her.“This doesn’t look good, and it doesn’t look bad either”, he said with a scoff and finally rolled down his side window.“Get in, hurry!” He said to Amelia, who couldn’t believe her ears. She opened the car door and hopped into it, looking back at the two men who suddenly stopped in their tracks. “Thank you”, she muttered and breathe out a massive sigh of relief.“No. Don’t thank me yet. You would see why I said so”, Alexander replied coldly and returned his gaze to the road.Something was wrong. Amelia sensed it right from the moment when the men coming after her stopped once they realized that she entered the Rolls-Royce.Sweats broke out on her forehead as she gulped down hard and gazed at the young man who behaved as though she wasn’t sitting in the car with him. “They stopped chasing me”, Amelia commented and waited to get a response from him. She was clouded in an array of emotions, and she didn’t know if it was preferably to smile, or get even more scared. The awkward silence that enveloped the atmosphere in the next minutes only made her feel worse. That was when it dawned on her that she might have fallen into the wrong hands. She bit her lips in regret and made to send a quick text to her mother. However, she debunked the idea when she recalled that they sold her out.“You are tensed and it’s fine. I won’t bite you”, Alexander said from the front seat, stealing glances at her through the rearview mirror.Amelia made to sigh out in relief, but his
A masculine figure, clad in a black coat and gray boot walked into the room and flipped the switch, bathing the whole area in warm shades of yellow.Amelia stirred, groaning lightly and muttering some inaudible words in her sleep. He slowly trudged towards her until he was some inches away from her face. With a smirk on his lips, he crouched low to take in the complete features of her face. She had a fine full face, with dimples rooted beneath her jaws that complimented her looks. Her fair sharp skin, pert nose, coupled with her rosy lips and graceful figure made her a beautiful sight to behold.“This doesn’t look bad”, he mumbled and kissed his teeth in delight.Just then, Amelia jerked up and gaped at him with a bewildered look. The next that followed was a loud scream that shook the entire wing.“Relax! I won’t bite you”, Alexander said with a scowl, wondering how she was able to scream that loud.“What are you doing in my room?” Amelia questioned, wrapping the sheets around her ch
Amelia still gaped around like a lost sheep. She couldn’t decipher what was going on, neither could she tell why he had given her sixty seconds to decide.“Three, two, one…”, Alexander’s countdown jolted her back to reality.“I will stay here”, Amelia blurted out with a puzzled look.At least, staying in such a mansion, with other ladies and a perfect breakfast, was better than living with an old man who wouldn’t stop smiling at her. Those were her thoughts and deep down, she hoped that she was correct.“But, why am I staying here? Why do I have to make a choice?” Amelia cried out in frustration. They ignored her and that only made her feel worse.“I would have her. Sorry, I broke my promise to you”, Alexander said to the other man, who quickly covered up the look of displeasure in his eyes.“Honestly! I thought I had the little bitch to myself. I couldn’t wait to devour her once I returned home. Right until she escaped”, Bobby scoffed, while Amelia stayed rooted to the spot.It sounde
Amelia buried her head to her knees at a corner of the room they led her to after breakfast. She was still it utmost shock that she failed to utter a word to anyone around her.“Hey, I’m five”, she heard a quiet voice, after which someone sat beside her.Slowly, she raised her head to stare at the lady who beamed at her. There was nothing funny currently, and her expression only angered Amelia. Amelia had thought that Alexander was a good person who would help her out. Discovering how cruel he was caused her heart to ache. He even pushed her until she hit her back on the wall.“Does your back still hurt? I can give you a massage?” The lady volunteered, hoping that Amelia would agree and give her a chance.“Just leave me alone!” Amelia said defiantly, after which she returned her face to her knees. The young lady stood up and knelt down. She stretched her hands towards Amelia’s back and without uttering a word, she started the process of massaging it.Amelia made to resist the good ges
Amelia put one foot on the floor, followed by the other. She stood up and tried to pull down the lingerie that was barely covering her thighs. She was tempted to look at Alexander who sat on a chair at the far end of the room, but she knew that if she did, she would see the hunger in his eyes, and she’d lose her nerves. Her palms were sweaty, and her heart was pounding heavily. She glanced over at Alexander again and her heart skipped a beat. He was still sitting over at the table, pretending as though he had no idea that she was in the room.Alexander gulped down hard as he tried to control the feelings that engulfed him the moment he perceived her scent. She smelled of vanilla and strawberry, and all he dreamt of was digging his head into her bare chest. His feet trembled when he felt her eyes on him, but he remained still; pretending to be engrossed in a work on his desk.Alexander could feel the restlessness that emanated from Amelia. He heard her silent sighs and the noise her bo
For a minute, Amelia observed a soft glint of emotions that passed through Alexander’s eyes. She heaved out in relief when he finally retreated and stood to his feet.“You are something strange”, Alexander scoffed, with his back facing Amelia who tried to coil up her herself on the bed. She still had the leather strap on her legs and that made her movement limited. “You are the strange one here”, she muttered under her breath, without an idea that he picked out her words.“Yes! I’m the strange one because I own you. I mean, I bought you!” Alexander said and laughed slightly.Amelia glared at him with disgust written all over her face. She couldn’t say why she wasn’t extremely frightened by his words or utterances. The only thing that sent cold shivers down her spine were the series of objects that laid at a corner of the room. She had only seen those in movies and her heart never accepted the fact that someone would have them laying at the comfort of his room. “Others don’t reply t
The door creaked open and Alexander poked his head into the room where he had left Amelia in all through the night. He was merciless with people who went against his orders and that gave him the power he craved for.Amelia was still strapped to the bed. She must have cried her eyes out until there were no more tears in them. At this point, she only sniffed hard and mumbled some inaudible words.Alexander could say that she barely had any sleep all through the night. How could she have slept when her entire body burnt with pain?He gulped down hard and walked into the room. It was just 5:am, but he was ready to let her go. He didn’t have a great night himself, because he kept reminiscing on how disrespectful she sounded while talking to him. Somehow, he also thought of the level of pain she would be in since her hands were hung in an excruciating manner. All those disturbed his heart all through the night. “It’s morning!” Alexander announced as he folded his hands behind his back an
One paced around the room, with Amelia staring at her and wondering why she suddenly became so tensed and uncomfortable.None of the ladies had ever spent a night out in Alexander’s room, and discovering that Amelia did just that caused One to go mad in rage.“I waited for you all night, but you had better plans, didn’t you?” She asked Amelia, who cursed under her breath. She blamed Alexander for every bit of what happened at the moment. If he hadn’t left her strapped to the bed, she would have returned to the room and spared herself this drama.“You need to understand me. He strapped me to the bed and made it unable for me to move an inch. There was no way for me to leave the room”, Amelia explained as tears welled up in her eyes.“Did you try to seduce him?” One asked, and Amelia’s jaws dropped in shock. She looked at One unbelievably, but retreated her gaze the moment she saw the fire that was burning in them.“You tried to seduce him, right?” One asked as she took slow strides towa
