Amelia’s Pov

My joy knew no bounds the minute Derek revealed that I would be the one leaving with him. It was hard to conceal how much excitement I felt, but my face was filled with smiles.

“Thank you so much!” I said to him as I finally pulled him into a warm hug and wiped the tears that had scattered all around my face.
