HUNDRED AND EIGHT

Mary and Emma were now sitting on the couch in the sitting room, while Adonis stood there with his hand in his pocket.

Mary wondered what Emma meant by saying her grandson was not a murderer. But Adonis had openly admitted in the court that he had killed his parents.

Adonis stood there and watched every reaction that appeared on Mary's face as they spoke.

"Then why is everyone saying he killed his parents? Why was he arrested?" Mary was even more confused as ever.

"You should see him as a hero instead of a murderer" Emma said.

Mary looked up at Adonis only to meet his eyes.

Mary kept rubbing Emma's arm as she spoke.

"Tell me about Adonis parents then" Mary said. "Is the lovely woman in that picture hanging inside that room Adonis's mom?" Mary asked.

Emma nodded. "My Lauren, my poor child. She suffered so much until death". Emma said with a sad look on face.

"Is she your daughter?" Mary asked, she could not help but ask too many questions.
