She was about about open up her mouth to cuss him when he pulled out a gun from his pocket and pointed it at them. Mary quickly pushed Emma behind her, but it seemed like she pushed too hard because the old woman ended up falling to the ground.

Mary's mouth snapped shut as she looked at Adonis, all the curses she had originally planned to rain on him hung in her throat.

"What are you trying to do?" He asked, his voice sounding more mean than it had sounded earlier. His eyes had gone blood shut, Mary feared that he had gone mad and would kill the both of them without thinking twice. Mary could not help but think if this was the same way Adonis had killed his parents, if this was th
