Mary ran quickly to the door, the door of the room that Adonis had asked her to stay away from. Mary tried su hard to hold the helm of her dress with both hands to prevent herself from falling. She had not had time to take off the dress, she was in a hurry since Adonis could be home at anytime.

She pulled the handle gently but was disappointed when it did not give way like she expected. It was locked from inside.

Still she tried to push her luck, she pushed even harder and made a sound.

"Are you okay miss" a female servant asked her from behind.

She turned around slowly trying to wipe every suspicious looks from her face.

"Uhhhm ..... Yes, I'm totally fine. I might have missed the way to my room" she said smiling nervously.

The maid smiled back at her. "Of course, it happens. The house is really a big house and you would tend to miss your way more often than not especially since you are new here. I'm certain you would get used to it soon". Mary nodded and let out
