Sybil

I stood perfectly still. The coffee cup in my hand felt suddenly heavy. I looked at the three of them as if the words Emrys just spoke were in a completely foreign language.

But none of them laughed. None of them said it was a joke. They just stared right back at me in total silence, waiting for my reaction.

I felt completely surrounded and entirely outnumbered.

I took a slow breath and looked at each of them. Their distinct reactions were completely overwhelming. Elias sat at his massive desk, his face a blank, impenetrable mask of stone that refused to give away a single thought.

Casimir stood by the window, his arms crossed over his chest and his icy blue eyes locked onto me with a cold stare that could freeze water. And Emrys stood right next to me. He had a smug, smitten smirk on his face and a warm gaze that threatened to turn my knees to jelly.

I finally found my voice. I set the coffee cup down on the edge of Elias's desk before my trembling fingers ended up dropping it. I turned my back on Emrys and Casimir, focusing all of my attention entirely on the elder brother.

"What is he talking about?" I asked. I kept my tone respectful, but I made sure my voice was steady. "Moving into your private estate was absolutely not in the contract I just signed. We did not discuss any living arrangements."

Elias did not flinch. He did not look apologetic in the slightest. He leaned forward slightly and folded his hands neatly over the files on his desk.

"You did not read the secondary security clauses, Ms. Adams," Elias stated calmly. His voice was smooth and carried the heavy weight of a man who never expected to be questioned. "As my Executive Assistant, you will be handling highly classified files. You will be dealing with corporate secrets that could dismantle this entire company if they were leaked to our competitors. Because of that, your personal safety and your immediate availability require a highly secure location. You cannot live in an unsecured apartment in the city anymore."

I stared at him in complete disbelief. I knew exactly what he was doing. He was not talking about corporate files or rival companies. He was talking in code to protect the secret of the baby.

He was using my sudden promotion as a convenient cover story to keep me locked away in his private house, and he was completely hiding the truth of the surrogacy from his own brothers. Although I did not know why.

Casimir pushed himself away from the large glass window. He did not yell. He did not need to raise his voice to command the room. His low, dangerous tone was far more intimidating than a shout.

"You want to move a complete stranger into the estate?" Casimir asked. He walked slowly toward the center of the office, his polished shoes making no sound on the rug. "We know absolutely nothing about her, Elias. We have highly sensitive meetings at the house. We discuss international mergers in our own dining room. We cannot just bring an unvetted employee into our sanctuary."

"She is fully vetted," Elias replied flatly. "Dr. Thorne ran a complete background check."

"A corporate medical check is not a security clearance," Casimir countered. His icy eyes shifted to me for a brief second before returning to his brother.

The open distrust on his face was startling.

"If you need her available around the clock, put her in one of the corporate apartments downtown. We can monitor her communications there for a few months. Let us study her habits and see if she can actually handle the pressure of the executive floor before we hand over the keys to our front door."

Emrys chuckled. It was a bright, melodic sound that felt completely out of place in the middle of their tense standoff.

"Oh, relax, Cas," Emrys said. He leaned casually against the edge of the glass coffee table and looked at his angry brother with a deeply amused grin. "You are being completely paranoid again. The house has forty bedrooms. The entire west wing is completely empty. I think we can find a little bit of space for one beautiful assistant. Besides, the estate gets boring on the weekends. I think Sybil will make an excellent addition to the scenery."

Casimir scowled at Emrys. "You are thinking with the wrong head again. This is a massive security risk. I do not trust her."

"I have already made the arrangements," Elias said. His voice left absolutely no room for debate. He looked at both of his brothers with a hardened expression. "The security team has been notified. The west wing is being prepared today. It is a necessary step for my new workflow. We all make decisions for our respective departments, and this one is final."

The three brothers stared at each other. A silent, intense conversation seemed to pass between them.

The heavy tension in the room was enough to make my chest ache. They were arguing over me as if I was a piece of risky cargo they had to store in a warehouse, or a shiny new toy they could not agree on how to share.

The fear in my stomach slowly mixed with a deep sense of self preservation. I was not going to throw a tantrum or insult the men who literally held my sister's life in their hands. But I was also not going to stand there in silence while they planned out the rest of my existence.

I took a step forward. I made sure my posture was perfect, channeling every ounce of professional grace I had learned over the last two years.

"Excuse me," I said quietly.

The three billionaires stopped looking at each other and turned their attention to me. Being the sole focus of three powerful men was entirely terrifying. My heart hammered against my ribs, but I held my chin high.

"I did not ask for this specific job," I told them, keeping my voice carefully measured. "But since I signed the contract, I am fully committed to the work. I will manage the desk. I will handle the schedule. However, if I am forced to pack up my life and move into your private home to keep this position, I need to know my boundaries."

Casimir narrowed his eyes slightly, clearly suspicious of my calm demeanor. He looked like he expected me to cry or quit, and my composure seemed to confuse him.

I looked directly at Elias. "I am an employee. I need a clear schedule. I will work whatever hours you require during the week, no matter how late. But my working hours must end at seven in the evening. And I need my weekends completely free."

Emrys tilted his head to the side, looking entirely fascinated by my demands. "Free to do what?"

"Free to visit my sister," I answered honestly. I did not mention the hospital or the impending surgery. I just stated the absolute necessity of my reality. "She is my only family. I will not abandon her to live in a mansion. If I am moving in by the end of the week, I need your word that my personal time on the weekends will not be interrupted for any reason."

The room went completely silent again. I held my breath. I had just laid down terms to three of the most powerful men in the city.

I was not rude, but I was entirely unbending. I needed them to know I was a human being with a life outside of this glass building, not just a tool for their corporate empire.

Elias watched me intensely. I could almost see the gears turning in his dark eyes. He was likely calculating the risk of me visiting the city while carrying his child. But he also knew he had pushed me into a corner with the sudden move.

Very slowly, Elias gave a single, tight nod.

"Your schedule will be respected," Elias murmured. "You will have your weekends."

I nodded back and let out a quiet breath of relief.

But as I stood there in the heavy silence, a deep sense of dread washed over me.

I looked at the three men surrounding me. Elias was cold, calculating, and completely unreadable. Casimir was suspicious, dangerous, and fiercely protective of his territory. Emrys was charming, unpredictable, and incredibly predatory.

They were three distinctly different, intensely intimidating forces of nature. They ruled their world with absolute control, and they clearly did not like outsiders disrupting their peace.

I had just secured my weekends, but I had absolutely no idea what I had just walked into for the rest of the week. I wondered, with a sinking feeling in my stomach, if I would actually be able to survive staying in a house with these three men for the next nine months.

SybilIt is incredible how fast a single interruption can completely shift the power dynamic inside a room. The heavy tension that Casimir brought with him vanished the very second the office doors swung open. It was instantly replaced by a completely different energy.I took a slow breath and finally stepped out of Casimir's shadow to look at the newcomer. The man who walked into the office bore a stark resemblance to the two billionaires already in the room. He had the same dark, neatly styled hair. He possessed the exact sharp, aristocratic jawline. He was just as tall as Elias and Casimir, carrying himself with a relaxed, predatory grace that made the expensive suit he wore look dangerous. And that was where the similarities ended. If Elias was a wall of impenetrable stone and Casimir was a violent winter storm, this new arrival was pure, lethal sunlight. He did not scowl or carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. He strolled into the executive suite with a bright, char

SybilI could not look away. The man standing in the doorway possessed a completely different kind of danger than the CEO. Elias was a silent, immovable mountain. He controlled the room by simply existing inside of it. The newcomer was a raging blizzard. He was slightly taller than Elias, built with lean muscle that seemed entirely out of place in a polished corporate boardroom. His dark hair was styled in a messy way that looked completely intentional, falling slightly over his forehead. But it was his eyes that caught me completely off guard. They were a stunning, piercing ice blue. They were so cold and sharp that they seemed to slice straight through my carefully built professional armor. He did not even look at me at first. He strode into the office as if he personally owned the entire building and then tossed a thick leather folder onto a glass coffee table."I am not playing games with the European board," the man said. His voice was a harsh, vibrating growl that echoed off

SybilThe private elevator to the top floor moved with complete, unsettling silence. I watched the digital numbers tick upward on the small screen above the doors, my stomach twisting into a tight knot with every passing floor. It was a surreal, terrifying mental shift. I had worked at Stavros Enterprises for two full years. I spent my days in a gray cubicle on the forty-second floor, drafting risk assessments, analyzing market trends, and drinking coffee from the breakroom. I knew the corporate structure of this empire inside and out. But I had never once laid eyes on the CEO. Not physically. Now, I was riding up to his private suite to negotiate the exact terms of carrying his child. It felt like a fever dream. If it were not for the heavy Non-Disclosure Agreement folded inside my purse and the pending wire transfer to the hospital escrow account, I would have turned around and run right out of the building. I would have gone back to my spreadsheets and pretended none of this ever

SybilI sat rigid in the chair as I stared at the man sitting across from me. Mr. Gable had a spreadsheet open on his computer and he was not looking at me. He was looking at the numbers. It was terrifying how quickly a human life could be reduced to a column of digits. My sister, Maya, was upstairs in a sterile room with machines breathing for her, but down here in the billing department, she was just an outstanding balance."I just need you to authorize the surgery," I said. My voice was steady. I refused to let it shake. "I will find the rest of the money by Friday. I can liquidate my retirement account and pull a loan against my salary."Mr. Gable finally looked up. He adjusted his glasses and offered a look of practiced, professional sympathy. It was the exact look you give someone right before you announce their life is ruined."Ms. Adams, we have been over this," he said quietly. "The hospital board requires seventy percent upfront for experimental procedures. That is a strict
