Rune.Sneaking out of the pack house was way easier than Soph and I expected it would be considering we made preparations for the excuses we’d make if we were caught and various other things, but in the end, we left the house through the front door, without even the tiniest bit of resistance from the guard wolves standing around. Alpha Kane was not home and not even Soph, whose mate left with him, knew where he went, and she didn’t seem to care. All she wanted to do was “get drunk and pass out till the next morning,” her words not mine, and it seemed to be our slogan for the night.
