Chapter 31: Going Home
Once everything is packed, I find someone to take me. Alpha Jamison so kindly volunteers, and then he drives me all the way home to my parent’s house. When we arrive, the place looks deserted at first glance.
“Are you sure you want to stay here by yourself?” He asks me with an uncertain look about him, and then he disappears around the side of the house.
Before I get to answer him, I hear something in the woods from behind me and I automatically turn around to face it. I am not prepared for my mother to walk out of the woods and greet me. Shaking my head, I’m relieved the moment I realize that it’s her and go to hug her.
