LOGINThe next morning Traci texted her that breakfast was from 7am to 9am. With their large crew it was easier to set aside a couple hours.
She went to breakfast and didn't see Traci. So, she sat at a table by herself. She did see some women who looked like they had on clothes they slept in. And some that had little clothing on. Those women gave her dirty looks. Traci walked in a few minutes later. Since it was Saturday, she wasn't working. She smiled at Jocelyn and sat down in front of her. She noticed her looking at the other women. She turned around and raised an eyebrow at them. They quickly looked away. "Don't mind them. They are just hang arounds." Traci replied. "Am I supposed to know what that means?" Jocelyn asked. "Sorry I forget. They hang around and enjoy the single men. They also can stay out back in a couple of the trailers. In exchange they have to earn their keep by cooking or cleaning." Traci explained. "Ok." She murmured. Soldier walked up. "I'm here to take you to the Tech den." "Ok I'm ready I guess." Jocelyn agreed. She got up and put her dishes in the sink. Soldier stood in the doorway waiting. Then she followed him down the hallway. Traci followed behind her. She noticed he had a nice firm ass in his cargo pants. His white shirt was stretched tight against his biceps. The man must work out. Then she chided herself for even thinking about him like that. He glanced over his shoulder just as he stopped in front of a door. Busted, he caught her staring at his body. He cheeks blushed red. He opened the door and stood aside for them to enter. Tech den was right. There were a couple of desks and all kinds of computer equipment. On another side of the room was a wall of monitors. Some stuff she had no idea what it was. "This is Data. One of our tech guys." Soldier introduced. "As of this minute Jocelyn no longer exists. Your new name is Jackie Harless. You can't contact anyone from your previous life. I know you have a mom and brother, so if you need to contact them then you'll have to come to this room and get one of us to place the call. We have equipment to block traces." Data explained. "Ok." She agreed. "Do you have any electronic equipment?" Data asked. "No, the other MC took them." She replied. "Good. In this folder you will find what you can tell people you meet. We kept it short. You've been working odd jobs until you decide on a career. You have no family except Traci here." He explained. Data handed her a folder. It had a driver’s license, social security card, and her new address. There was a paper that explained her name, jobs, and family. Data smiled then turned his attention back to his computer. They all turned and walked out of the office. Soldier shut the door. "I know it may seem drastic. But it's for your protection as well as ours." Soldier remarked. "I understand. I'm just thankful to be away from that mess. I'll do what I need to stay safe." She assured him. "Jackie. Hmmm, you do look like one. This is going to take some getting used to." Traci smiled. "You aren't kidding." Jocelyn now Jackie agreed. Traci smiled. "Well, what is next for you? Job?" "I'm not sure what to do next." Jackie replied. "Well, I think you should just lay low for a while. You're set up in the trailer, and if you need anything just let us know. The guys are checking on your ex to see if he's looking for you. We need to see what's going on with him." Soldier explained. "I'm going to head out. I've got grocery shopping to do. How about you come for dinner tomorrow?" Traci asked. "Sure, that sounds good. I'm just going to go back to the trailer." Jackie replied. "I'll walk you." Soldier replied. A week passed, and Prez requested Jackie to the tech office. Soldier escorted her there. He knocked on the door and then entered. Prez, Data, Hacker, and Jammer were all there waiting on her. "I don't want you to panic, but we have some bad news." Prez replied. "Just you saying that has me panicking. What's wrong? My mom? My brother?" Jackie asked. "Your brother was taken to the hospital. A group of guys jumped him and beat him up pretty bad. I've sent someone over to his hospital room to protect him." Prez explained. "Is he going to live? How bad is bad?" Jackie cried. "Just some bruises and a broken arm. Couple of cracked ribs too. Things that will heal, but not life threatening." Hacker replied. "My ex did it, didn't he?" Jackie demanded. "Most likely, we're checking into it." Hacker replied. "Can I please call him? My mom must be going out of her mind!" Jackie pleaded. They got her a burner phone that couldn't be tracked. She kept it brief when she talked to her mom and then her brother. Prez assured her he'd have someone watching them until they figured out how to deal with her ex. The next problem came a few days later. Her mom's house had been burnt to the ground while her mom was at the hospital with her brother. She begged them to come live with her but they refused. Her brother only had a few months of school left until he graduated. And her mom wouldn't leave him. She constantly worried about them. Her and Soldier had been talking and he would listen to her worries and give her a shoulder to cry on. "I don't know why they are being so stubborn. Don't they know I am worried sick over them?" Jackie whispered. "Hang in there, your brother graduates in six weeks. Didn't he assure you they'd move then?" Soldier asked. "He did. But six weeks seems like a long time, and anything could happen." Jackie agreed. "What can I do to help?" He asked. "Make me forget, even if for a short time? I'm so tired of worrying. It's emotionally exhausting." She replied.Dallas's journal Grade school. Billy Roman is cute. I wonder if he likes me? I sent him a note. Do you like me? Check yes or no. The second Kara's body hit the floor, Scribe ran to Allison. He untied her and examined her for injuries. Then he lifter her in his arms and quickly carried her out of the trailer to the waiting SUV."We're out of there baby. Do you need a doctor?" He asked."No. I just want a hot shower." She replied. He held her all the way back to the compound. The guys would wait for the authorities to get there and give their statements. He knew later he'd have to take her to give her statement also. He carried her into the clubhouse and straight to his room. She finally opened her eyes after he removed her clothes. Then he removed his and moved them into the shower. Her whole body was trembling and her teeth were starting to chatter. So he raised the water temperature. She had always liked it much hotter than he had.He washed her off and held her as she cried. His arms wrapped around her tightly giving her the comfort she needed. She finally started to relax in his arms. Then they got out and d
Back at the Compound.Scribe had no idea Allison had wrecked. It wasn't until after he had gotten out of his meeting that he saw she hadn't texted him that she got home. So he tried calling her. Then he tried Dallas and her dad. Neither had heard from her. Getting worried, he headed to the tech room. He had Data to track her cell phone. Data gave him the last place it had pinged off a tower. Then he texted Prez about what was going on.Him and several brothers got on their bikes and headed to the location. When they got there they had to look around. Finally after much searching, they found her truck. It had went over an embankment and landed against a tree. The driver's side door was open. Her cell phone was in the floor of the truck. There was some blood on the driver's window, but Allison was no where to be found. They checked with local hospitals and ambulance services, but none of them had seen her. Scribe was now in a full panic. Could Larissa have done this? He was going to
Scribe brought her dinner and it was all of her favorite foods. She wanted to be mad at him and make him pay for hurting her. But she was losing the battle.A few days later they were at the local diner and had just sat down when Kara showed up. Allison was furious. Did he plan this?"Hi." Kara smiled. Then she sat in the booth beside of Scribe. Allison gave him a furious look. She was about to get up and leave until he spoke."Kara, do you mind to let me out?" He asked."Ah sure." She replied.Kara stood up and Scribe got out of the booth. Then he moved Allison over so he could sit beside her. Kara sat back down."I'm Kara, his old buddy from the service. You must be Allison? He told me all about you." She smiled.Kara held out her hand but Allison refused to shake it. She could see the true meaning behind her words. And see the fakeness from a mile away. She was hinting about Allison leaving him supposedly without a word. Allison was not about to put up with her fake shit."Do you
As Allison was getting out of the bath, she walked into her room to someone sitting on her bed. She nearly screamed until she realized it was Dallas. Then her heart dropped as she had hoped it would have been Scribe."Oh no this ain't waiting until morning. Spill!" Dallas demanded. So, Allison told her what happened. "Do you think I over reacted?""Absolutely not! You have every right to feel how you felt. He is in the wrong here, not you. Has he tried calling or texting you?" Dallas asked."There were a couple before I turned my phone off. I was afraid I'd do something I'd regret if I tried to respond right now." Allison explained."That's probably wise." Dallas agreed."I swear, it was like déjà vu all over again. Am I so forgettable? If I'm his soulmate, how can I be forgotten so quickly and twice?" Allison whispered."Turn you phone on, let's see what the meathead has to say." Dallas ordered. As soon as she turned her phone on, it started sending notification after notification. T
After they left church and got in Scribe's truck, Allison looked at him in disbelief. She couldn't believe him and Traci had done such a thing, and in church. And she couldn't believe the Pastor went along with it. In fact, she'd bet money he was in on it."I can't believe ya'll did that!" Allison remarked."Well, you said you'd like to be able to walk through town without the bad rumors following you around and all the glares. So, I thought what better way to set people straight than in church? And man, after that sermon Pastor gave I think several will think twice next time." Scribe laughed."Did you really post a copy of the paternity test on the town information board?" Allison asked."Yep, laminated it and posted it." Scribe confirmed."I wish we knew who his real father is. I'm afraid she's going to ruin that poor little boy if she raises him." Allison sighed."Agreed." Scribe replied. When they got back to the clubhouse they changed into t-shirts and shorts. The club was having
