41. Field Trips Part 2

Carol's lost some personal things, she thinks the last time she saw it was on the bus. So the girl was forced to go back to the parking lot to find it, lucky it was still in the same place as the last time she saw it.

Then not far from her stand, a car made a smooth turn to parking. She knew who the owner of the car was but didn't expect she would see that person on occasion like field activities outside school. That made her stay watching from where she stood.

“Oh! Is that you, Carol?” William got out of his family's car. It seemed that he had just arrived escorted by the driver, coming separately from the entourage. “I didn't expect to see you on our field trip.” It was nice to meet Carol there, he thought.

“I give those words back to you." Carol's curt reply has become her trademark.
