Chapter 45

OAKLEY

I remembered what my mom and Selene had told me in the dream about my dad getting a second chance mate. I was happy it didn’t take long to find her. He deserved to be happy. I watched as he walked down the hallway following the scent of his mate. I followed him while the others took care of the kid.

He stopped at a door that opened at the same time he arrived. A woman in a doctor coat with a stethoscope hanging around her neck stepped out. she was pretty with long curly brown hair, brown eyes and about my height. She looked at my dad and her eyes widened.

“Mate.” She whispered. He nodded at her.

“This can’t be. I had a mate. He passed away in a fight against rogues.” She said.

“I lost my first mate as well. You’re my second chance also. Perhaps you would like to get some coffee and talk?” My dad asked her. She nodded and they headed off towards what I was assuming was the cafeteria.

I turned around and made my way back to where everyone else was. I didn’t want to impose and I could only say a silent prayer that it worked out for them.

I saw mark standing in the hallway talking to his beta. He turned and smiled at me as I approached.

“There isn’t much we can do here. Let’s head home.” He said. We turned and made our way out of the pack hospital and towards the pack house.

“I’m still angry at you.” I told him. He nodded.

“I know. I should have listened to you and trusted your instinct. I’m sorry.“ he said. He looked so pitiful that I couldn’t help but forgive him.

“Alright. I forgive you…….this time.” I said to him. He stopped and looked at me with an odd look on his face.

“Oh yea?” He asked.

“Yea.….“ I said, curious about what he was up to. He slowly moved towards me like he was afraid I would take off at any minute. I slowly started to back away.

“What are you doing?” I asked him.

“I’m going to make it up to you and show you just how sorry I am.” He said with a wicked grin, a look of lust in his eyes. It instantly clicked in my mind what he was doing. I turned, giggling, and took off running towards the woods behind the pack house. I could hear his footsteps behind me. I knew he was letting me think I was faster than him for now. I jumped over bushes and ducked under branches as I continued to run and laugh. I could smell some water and knew there must be a creek or something so I turned in that direction. I saw what looked like a lake, it was so pretty that I started to slow and admire it when I remembered he was chasing me. I kept running towards the lake, stripping out of my clothes as I went. By the time I reached the lake I was fully naked and jumped right in without even thinking. The water felt great. I surfaced and turned to see mark standing on the shore holding my clothes. He was smiling.

“Well that was fun.” He said. He set my clothes down on a rock and looked at me.

“Well are you going to join me or not?” I asked him. He laughed and started to undress, putting his clothes with mine. As he slide out of his boxers the erection he was sporting sprang up. Just the look of it caused heat to go through my body and straight to my core.

“I can see the drool coming out of your mouth.” He said as he smirked when he caught me staring. He slowly made his way into the water and towards me. When he reached me he put one arm around my lower back, pulling me into him and the other hand snaking up through my hair to the back of my head bring our lips together with a hungry passionate kiss. I returned the kiss with just as much passion. He grabbed my legs, bringing them up around his waist as he slide inside of me. I let out a moan at how amazing it felt. I began to move myself against him using my legs and arms as we were kissing. He broke away from my mouth and started kissing at my neck, when he reached his mark all the feelings intensified. His hands gripping at my thighs tightened and moved closer to my butt. He moved his finger to play around my entrance as he was sliding in and out of me. He brought his mouth back to mine and he moaned into my mouth as I scratched at his back and tugged gently at his hair. He slowly moved us towards a slightly deeper area where pulled out of me, causing me to whimper. He then turned me around and pushed me up the the shore line and then lined himself up at my entrance again, teasing me with his tip and fingers. He then thrust himself inside of me and leaned over me, arms circling my waist. He begins kissing my back as he begins moving slowly at first before picking up his speed. He brings one of his hands up to my hair, gently pulling back, his other hand reaching for my clit, tugging and rubbing my nub, causing even more pleasure to course through me. He picked up his speed even more, he begins to pound into me in a way that hits the right spot and he takes me roughly. I scream out his name as I reach my climax, he growls out mine as he reaches his at the same time. He slows down his movements before pulling out of me and pulling us both upright. He turns me around and kisses me gently, pulling me against him, holding me. We stay there in the moment, catching our breath. After a few moments of silence he says something.

“Well that just happened” mark said. I giggled.

“I very much enjoyed that.” I told him.

“I could tell.” He grinned at me. “But we should probably find our clothes and head back to the pack house. We have a rouge in the hospital we have to decide what to do with, a pack member in the cells that needs punishment or something and there is the whole situation with your dad finding his second chance mate with the pack doctor.” He said. I nodded. We had a lot of things to figure out. We made our way out of the water and to where our clothes were. We dressed slowly, as if we wanted the moment together to last a little longer, and then we began to make our way back through the woods towards the pack house.
