Lydia had rushed into the kitchen, as she didn't want to go into her room. Khloé was there, and if Khloé saw her cry, she would know. She tried to tell herself that she was a strong woman. Someone who can't be easily affected, but isn't true. She isn't a bold woman. She can be easily affected, so she burst into tears.

Marian's words kept hitting her badly that she wished Carson had never told her about his plans to take Khloé to Gary's School. Calling her homeless? This was the worst blow she had received since George abandoned her years ago for some silly reason.

Anny walked in with the dishes,

“Lydia, please don't take Marian's words to heart. She can be annoying sometimes. Just let it go”

Lydia sniffed as she raised her hands from her palms,

“Ma'am Anny, I don't know… I think… I think I should leave” her words coming out with hiccups as she was trying to calm herself but nothing was working.
