I woke up with puffy red eyes, but it didn't bother me, I made sure to lock myself in my room away from the Lycan King, Luisa, and his family who wanted my neck on a silver platter. I don't even think I was exaggerating, his mother's words were cold, and her tone dangerous, his sister's glare was enough to send me six feet beneath, and his mate- former mate? she couldn't wait to get rid of me. I couldn't tell if the Lycan King wanted me here genuinely or if I was just one of the few inconveniences that he had to deal with to get an heir. Why did it matter to me? Of course it didn't.

I wasn't in the mood for breakfast so I ignored Luisa when she knocked. I intended to stay in here as long as I could. After I had my bath, I decided to paint to help ease my mind and the tension I was feeling, and I ended up painting the Lycan King starting at the dance floor. The colors flowed through my paints quickly, the image vivid and bold, and it felt good to see it again.
