AYANNA
My heart raced the closer I got to the room. I could hear the moans and groans of pleasure echoing through the entire house still I refused to believe it. Alex wouldn't betray me this way, he loves me so much but as I quietly pushed the door to our bedroom open, my entire world came crumbling down.
There he was, my husband f*ucking another woman on our matrimonial bed. Not just any other woman, my cousin Kate.
"Oh, you feel so good. I never want this to end," Alex groaned in pleasure
"You don't have to if you don't want to, all you have to do is get rid of your wife. Our relationship would no longer have to be hidden if you do so."
"I know Kate. But I can't end things with her, not yet at least. I have a lot to lose if I divorce her, so we have to keep hiding our relationship like we've done for years."
Years?
They've been doing this for years. How long? Is it two years, three years. Alex and I have been married for five years. I never saw signs of his cheating or perhaps because he treated me so well and acted like the perfect husband. He easily fooled me.
Unable to bear their screams of pleasure which filled the room, I quietly pulled the door shut before either of them noticed me.
Their moans kept echoing even as I ran out of the house, completely devastated_I wasn't just consumed by pain, but rage knowing he's been playing me for a long time.
By the time I reached my car, my hands were shaking so violently I dropped my keys twice.
...
"I want a divorce father, Alex is not the man he's been pretending to be he's a liar and a cheat," I said as soon I barged into father's home office.
"You want to divorce just because you caught your husband cheating," Father replied nonchalantly, slowly raising his head to meet my gaze.
"What is wrong with you Ayanna. Do you want to ruin our family's reputation with divorce. The legacy I've struggled to build for many years? Think about the headlines_ the endorsements. Do you want your entire career dragged through the mud over this. And what about those women who look up to you, those who want a marriage like yours, you want to break their hearts?"
What about mine?
I wanted to scream. But I was in awe. Too stunned that even as I open my mouth to speak I couldn't get the words out.
"Men are polygamous in nature. It's not so bad if your husband cheats as long as the other woman remains a mistress. Alex and you have been married for five years you can't just throw it away because of mere cheating. Besides his relationship with Kate has been going on even before you both got married. But he chose you which means he loves you."
"No no...What!" I yelled, staggering backward. My legs felt weak. My shocked gaze trailed after him as he stood from where he sat, sauntering toward me.
"Father you knew. All this while you knew about his relationship with Kate yet you allowed me marry him. What kind of a father are you? No, are you even my father?"
Slap.
Pain sliced through my cheek following father's slap. I couldn't even bring myself to cry, probably too stunned by the betrayal or yet to comprehend the full force of it.
"Don't even think of divorcing Alex you hear me. Behave and feign ignorance like your mother has been doing all these year's. If you don't listen to me, your mother suffers the consequences," Father turned his back to me before I could utter another word.
I silently stared at his retreating figure my fist tightly clenched beside me to avoid breaking down before him. I couldn't break down before a man who was suppose to be my father, but betrayed me so thoroughly.
As soon as I left his office, I collapsed. My body shook from how violently I sobbed, hitting my chest as if that would stop my heart from shattering. As if it would numb the pain of betrayal from both my husband and Father.
My phone rang at that moment and my best friend, Olivia's name appeared on the screen. My fingers trembled as I pressed the answer button.
"Baby," came Olivia's bubbly voice.
"Hey," my voice broke even though I tried to sound okay. Olivia sensed it immediately.
"What's wrong babe? Did someone hurt you? Who is it? Tell me right now I'll handle them."
"Li, Al....Alex...father...they..." I broke into sob again unable to speak.
"Send me your location right now, I'm coming to get you."....
Olivia pulled me into a hug as soon as I got into her car. I sobbed uncontrollably as if my world was ending. Olivia gently patted my back without questions until I was calm enough to talk."Li, Alex has been cheating on me. Father knew," I narrated the entire story to her.
"F*cking bastards. You see why I despise men. Aya, you have to get back at him. You can't let him play you like this_ I mean look at you, you're beautiful, you're smart, you're successful. There are so many men out there who'd kill to have you. Since you can't divorce him or expose his cheating ass, you must get your own revenge.

"Li, I'm not sure about this. I can't do it," I said as I look around the club.
"Baby girl, so you want to forgive him, pretend like he's not been smashing your cousin for eternity. You want to feign ignorance like your Father said?"
The words hit me hard. How could I feign ignorance or forgive Alex when the wound he inflicted was still fresh. I can't even get what he did out of my mind. I kept seeing him and Kate on my matrimonial bed. He didn't only cheat, but disrespected and humiliated me."I can't forgive Alex, but I don't know if I can..."
Olivia cut me off by placing a finger on my lips.
"An eye for an eye Aya. Play his game. Cheat right back and destroy his stupid ego."
I heaved a sigh and nodded, following her as she led me to the VIP room. Adrenaline coursed through me as we sat down. Though the place wasn't as crowded as the regular floor, I still felt insecure.
"Relax babe. No one would recognize you. You're wearing a mask remember."
I relaxed a little afterwards, sipping from my drink as Olivia ordered several male escorts. Soon they paraded before us. But none caught my eyes. I couldn't even completely focus because my mind kept drifting toward Alex.
I wanted to hurt him. I wanted to humiliate him like he did to me.
"Aya pick one already or you can have all of them if can't pick one,," Olivia pulled my attention.
I heaved another sigh, looking at the escorts again_ all tall, well built and good-looking but I wanted something more. If I wanted to get back at Alex, it had to be someone who supercedes him in every way_ looks, status and reputation.
As soon as the thought crossed my mind, I looked around the room, spotting a man sitting alone at the far corner of the room, dressed entirely in black, leg crossed like he owned in the place. Unlike the others he wasn't seeking attention, he didn't need to, he simply watched while sipping slowly from his glass.
As if feeling my gaze on him, he looked in my direction, eyes dark and intense. And for some reason I couldn't explain, I knew he was the one.
Hi guys! Thank you for picking up Secret affair with a mafia boss. I hope you enjoy it. Please I'd love to see your feedbacks. Tell me what you think.
ALEX Ayanna's chauffeur dropped her off in front of the Elite hotel. One of the many hotels belonging to the Blackwell's. I didn't want to jump to conclusion that she was meeting with Rain Blackwell just because she came to one of the Blackwell's hotel. It could be someone else, a friend, a client yet I couldn't shake the initial feeling off.Dressed in a backless red silk dress that clung to her body like a second skin, Ayanna drew the attention of all those who passed by as she gracefully walked into the hotel. My phone beeped just then and I looked the message that appeared on it, not mine but Ayanna's message to the anonymous person she was meeting."I'm already here, see you in a minute."Rage surged through me as I read the message, my grip tightening on the stirring wheel until my knuckles turned white. I desperately hoped my intuition was wrong, that Ayanna wasn't cheating on me. The mere thought ignited an unadulterated rage. That she was no longer useful to me didn't make i
ALEX What the f*ck. This place was creepy as hell. An abandoned warehouse at the outskirt of town. It was hidden in a maze of trees I wouldn't have found it if not for the use of GPS. Who the hell was this psychopath who knew about my affair with Kate and what did he want? Why make me come all the way to a place like this?I parked my car in front of the warehouse, heaving a sigh as I slowly stepped out. My legs trembled as I walked and adrenaline course through me at the thought of finally meeting whoever this person was. I'd come alone like the anonymous person instructed but I'd shared my location with Kate just in case.Distant howl echoed through the forest and I trembled in fear increasing my pace toward the warehouse. The door swung open with a shriek when I pushed it and I flinched, glancing around before I walked in. The places was empty, except for the table which sat at the middle of the room with a single lit candle which dimly illuminated the place. The anonymous person
RAINmy expression changed the moment I arrived at grandfather's mansion. Though the dinner was supposed to be by 8.pm I came by 9.pm. purposely delaying to avoid much of the family drama. Heaving a sigh, I walked into the house. Their loud voices welcomed me even before I got to the dining hall."That arrogant brat, he has absolutely no regard for us his elders. Everyone was here by eight except him. If he can't even respect us now, what happens when he finally wears the crown," that high pitched annoying voice belonged to Vivian Blackwell, my second aunt. She was maniputive. Always looking for ways to remove me as the heir of the Blackwell family and give it to her son even though he wasn't a Blackwell."You do make a good point Vivian_ once I wear the crown as the head of the Blackwell family, the first thing I'll do is strip off your right to the Blackwell name. You're married now, you should take your husband's name, stop clinging to the Blackwell name so desperately. Secondly I
"Mr.Blackwell, it is said in your file that you have an unhealthy obsession with a married woman."She looked up for the file with a curious expression and I shrugged."It's not an unhealthy obsession. It's more like an intense obsession and love for her. I desire to claim her for myself, to protect her even if it means killing the bastard she calls her husband. I'd say the urge to kill him grows each day. I sometimes find myself fantasizing over it," I smiled sadistically as I spoke. Suddenly this therapy session didn't seem so absurd I now had someone to share my sinister intentions with. She observed me for a while, an unreadable expression on her face."I'd like it if you address me as Margaret, going forward. she finally broke the silence. "How about you tell me more about this woman, when and how did you meet her?"I thought back to the time I met Ayanna. You probably thought it was the night she approached me at the club. However Ayanna and I met long before that, I was probab
After I left the room I returned to the guest room where Ayanna was, kissed her forehead and lips before leaving....As soon as I walked into my living room, I found Mason sitting on the couch, he slowly glanced up at me, disapproval written all over his face. I get him, it was almost 4 a.m and I was just coming back home after visiting a lover."I'll schedule you an appointment with a therapist to help with your unhealthy obsession," Was all he said before sauntering off to his quarters.Heaving a sigh, I threw myself into the nearest couch. Could my obsession really be cured? Perhaps I should give it a try. I pushed the thought aside as I pulled the spare phone I bought recently from my pocket. It had a chip installed in it to make every call and text untraceable.I smiled sinisterly as I typed a message pressing send before closing my eyes to sleep.Morning came in a flash, I groaned as I stood up, the aroma of food filling the air. I checked the time on my phone, it was 7.am. ju
I gently removed his hand from my shoulder, heaving a sigh as I turn to face him. "Not tonight Alex, I had a long day but go take a quick shower and come, I'll put you to sleep."Reluctantly, he left and I breath a sigh of relief as I resumed drying my hair. By the time he came out of the bathroom I was in my pajamas sitting on the bed. As much as I wanted to sleep before he came, I couldn't bring myself to, not when he was after my life.I helped him dry his hair and helped him into his pajamas like I always do, then I pulled him to bed with me, making him rest his head on my thigh then I slowly massaged his head while humming a soft melody. I always did this. To him I was showing him affection, that may have been the case yet right now I was simply putting my enemy to sleep so I could sleep also. Once I heard his snores, I patted him several times to be sure he'd truly fallen asleep, carefully removing his head from my lap before leaving the room with my pillow. My phone beeped as

AYANNA I turned off my phone and begged the taxi driver to hurry so I could get to the house before Alex. Only then could I come up with an excuse for my absence at the party today and quell whatever suspicion he had about me and Rain Blackwell. So far I was only tolerating him and keeping my affa
My entire body froze completely and I looked at him with total disbelief. Perhaps he didn't mean it but the raw emotion in his eyes seemed too sincere to be fake. No he can't. I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out. My heart was pounding loud and fast against my chest and adrenaline cour
There was this heavy feeling in my chest as drove through the drive way leading to our house. I hadn't been here since Alex travelled out. Most of my time have been spent with Mother or with Rain at my other house. But Alex returned today so I had to come back even if I didn't want to. Steppin
