23 Ola's Tactics (1)

Kaluna wore a knee-length skirt that fit her legs well and was not too tight. For the top she chose a blue long-sleeved dress with both shoulders exposed.

"You look like a child," Ola commented as she looked at Kaluna from head to toe. "Tomorrow aunty will buy you more diverse clothes."

"I'm still a teenager," Kaluna said. "Why would I wear clothes that make me look old?"

"You don't understand fashion," said Ola as she picked up her bag. "Let's go to the boutique, shall we? I want to buy some clothes that will make you look elegant and mature."

"Wouldn't it be better to use the money for the house, Aunty?" asked Kaluna as she grabbed her bag too. "I still have a lot of clothes."

Ola sighed, it was the first time she had heard Kaluna argue with her and it was starting to annoy her. She felt that she had to make Kaluna look more mature than her actual age. At least it would make Kaluna more attractive to the person she was preparing for.
