Chapter 15: Another visit from Deamian

I woke up almost ambushed by Deamian who hovered over me. I was on the floor and my body ached slightly. The idiot pushed me off!
"What. The. Actual. Fudgeballs!" I yelled.
He burst out laughing and I took the opportunity to trip him.
He landed with a hard thump right next to me. I began laughing and so did he... Until eventually we stopped. We were close... Very close. His piercing blue eyes stared into my soul and roamed my face as though he were capturing it for future reference. For some or other odd reason my heart began thudding hard against my chest and I gulped slightly. I must be getting the flu, right? Probably from all those plants in the Moon Goddess' sanctuary.
