CHAPTER 8

Blaine got to his feet the second the glass doors slid open to usher in Damian and his men.

His magnificence erupted with ease, stealing gasps from the lips of the few ladies present in the waiting area.

He was not bothered by that though, he had something else on his mind. The new gang that had wandered into his lair had done so without authorization.

As charming as he was, Damian was a very principled and detail-oriented person.

He was not threatened by the new organisation but he was very much annoyed they did business without knowing the rules and roots of things.

Within a few weeks of arriving, they had begun causing trouble.

He stopped dead in his tracks and snapped his head to his left. His gaze dropped to the one man he had business on.

Even though he had never met Blaine, he could sense the dark energy emanating from him.

'The demon's pun.' Damian noted in his thoughts.

Pressing his lips together, he narrowed his gaze on the man. "Who?"

Trailing his line of sight, the first receptionist rushed out from the counter, ducked her head and greeted.

"Welcome, sir. He is Mr Wright. He came to make an appointment."

"Appointment?" Blaine scoffed and walked over. "Damian Stormborn, my name is Blaine Wright and I believe you and I have urgent important business."

His eyes gleamed as he exuded his dark aura to remind Damian of who he was should the sex god not have noticed.

"Hm." Turning his head face forward, he gave his order not minding the effect they would have. "Have the Vice speak to him."

"What?"

Infuriated by his actions, Blaine found himself staring at the back of the most annoying man he had met in his life as he walked off without a care in the world.

"How dare…"

He did not get to finish his words when the three bodyguards who were with Damian blocked his path, glaring down at him.

Noticing the small commotion which was about to happen, Damian smirked as he stopped and looked at his side.

"You are nothing but an errand boy to your Lord. He should come to see me if he wants to deal with business."

"Say one more word of Insult about Lord…"

Immediately the frightening aura they had felt from Damian when he walked in went deeper, exuding a danger sign around him.

"I would watch my words and environment if I were you," the first bodyguard stated before Damian could intervene.

His cheeky grin grew even more and ensured his eyes and Blaine's met.

"You should count yourself lucky I am allowing you to meet with my vice. Do you think a person of your calibre is allowed to be in his presence?"

Blaine gritted his teeth, balling his fingers into a fist by his side but did not say anything.

"I did not think so either," Damian finalized. "Take it or leave it."

Those were the only words he had to spare that soul. With that he took his leave, making his way towards the elevator.

Damian could not be bothered by the likes of a lower demon when he was a god.

He had wished to say that out but realizing where they were, he refrained from using such terms and left the others to handle him.

As soon as the elevator doors closed, he brought out his phone from his pocket and placed a quick call.

"Hello, Tristan," Damian voiced cooly.

"Hello, Damian. How did your little outing go," the young man's voice from the other end of the phone came out in a playful tone.

"What don't you know about me, Tristan?" Damian responded in a like manner.

"Where did you go to or who the beautiful lucky damsel was that you went to see."

"Hmm. You are right. I did go find a damsel but she is not the world's best in beauty either."

"Wow. I thought you only went for the beauties. How come you went…"

"She is beautiful alright but not as perfect as Astra. Anyway, that is not why I called. I have a hound I need you to meet. The new buttholes that are roaming in my zone has sent a messenger."

"Isn't that nice? Why me? You can have the assistant vice do it," Tristan pointed out.

"I understand you but Jason would succumb to him."

At the mention of the matter, Tristan sat upright, placing his feet down on the ground as his entire system became focused.

"Why?"

"I could smell Serling's scent on him. He's been with the Demon Lord. That alone proves he has an undeniable charm."

Ding!

Damian stepped out of the elevator and made his way down the corridor leading to his office.

"Damian," Tristan mentioned his name with a deep voice. "Serling is behind them?"

"I suppose. I am not sure entirely but I can say, I recognize that smell anywhere."

Tristan breathed out deeply and nodded his head as though Damian could see him.

"It is okay. No cause for alarm. We won't fall for his tricks."

"Sure."

"This is why I won't let Jason a normal human meet him. He would succumb to an incubus' charms."

"And I?"

"You bent a bit to mine. You and I know I am the only one who got you down on your knees. None other, demon or god can."

"Shut it, proud sex god. Tsk. You are right though. Unlike you all, my head remains focused. I will have no problem."

"We shall see about that. Anyways, no not bend for a deal. I do not want them thriving here. Prove to them who rules. If Serling is really behind him, he would make more trouble. He is a tricky demon."

"And I am the god of tricksters."

"I won't argue that with you. The hound is at the reception. Be prepared, he will be brought to you soon."

"Sure."

"That's all for now. I need to go. I can smell trouble in my office."

"I am guessing Astra or…"

"Shut it and focus on your own trouble Tristan. I bet he came to get us one way or the other. As compared to mine, you will be in hot soup."

"I would choose that any day compared to an angry female goddess. Have fun. You won't escape."

"Oh…" His deep voice resounded, causing a shudder in Tristan. "I shall."

He ended the call and took a glance at his secretary. The young lady ducked her head at him in greetings.

"She's in?"

"The usual way," the young lady announced.

"Of course."

Closing the gap between her and his door, he opened it freely and stepped in.

As soon as he got inside his eyes flew to his chair and desk, scanning the lovely female seated crossed-legged on his chair like the owner herself.

"To what do I owe this pleasure, Azura?"

Her purplish eyes sparkled with exquisite delight as her prize ventured into the office.

"My my if it isn't my favourite god."

Damian chuckled lightly. Of course, he was her favourite god. After all, only he knew how best it was to please her.

"I smell another one on you, Damian. Where have you been?"

"I never knew I have to explain myself to you now, do I?" Damian asked, placing both hands on the chair's handle as he turned her to face him and brought his face in for a kiss.

"Don't you?" Her eyelashes fluttered as she leaned closer to kiss him, but just as their lips were about to touch, Damian pulled back and chuckled.

"You don't. No one does. Get up, Azura."

Her eyes went around in shock. He told her off just like that. That simply proved what she had been told.

She bit the inner walls of her lips but outwardly she put on a lovely smile.

"You do not mean…" she swallowed feeling his intense gaze settle on her.

"Did I stutter?"

She swallowed and rose up. Slowly she made her way to where he stood close to the window and slid her hands up his torso.

"Damian," her sultry voice invaded his ear as she rested her head against his back.

"I've missed you. How can you say those words to me when I have been aching for your touch?"

Her fingers slid down to his abdomen through his clothes till she came to the top of his belt and sucked in a deep breath.

She pressed her chest into his back, allowing her soft breast to rub against him through her purple thigh-high-length gown.

"What say you, how about a nice round of some deep pounding?"
