A boyfriend

For a moment, Kinsley was lost in his thoughts and only then realized that Alesya was still waiting for his decision.

"So what, Sir? I don't get fired?" Asked Alesya hopefully.

Kinsley feels frustrated to face a chatty and acting woman like Alesya. He massaged his forehead and said. "Hn. I'll give you one chance. This afternoon you start working at the Mansion. Someone will pick you up after office hours are over. You can leave now!" Kinsley waved his hand as if he was rudely shooing away.

A smile appeared on Alesya's lips. A little hope came; she didn't get fired. Alesya said enthusiastically, "Thank you for giving me the opportunity, Sir. Then I'll excuse myself." Alesya turned around and left the room.

A few moments after Alesya came out, Kinsley called Allard, who was known to be waiting at the door. "Allard!" Call Kinsley.

From outside, Allard came in and stood at the table waiting for orders. "What did you call me, sir?"

"Allard, order someone to pick up Alesya after office hours and take her to the Mansion. Sooner or later, I will be able to beat her. I want to see how stubborn she can get away from me."

"Yes, Sir, according to your orders. But I still hope that you will one day be able to give up my sister's death and move on." Allard's words sounded sincere and pure; he who had accompanied Kinsley all this time understood the burden of the heart that Kinsley always carried.

Nothing was more tiring and painful than bearing a grudge against the death of a loved one.

Kinsley leaned back and sighed. "Allard, you won't understand how my heart breaks when I see the person I love die in such a tragic way right in front of my eyes without being able to do anything. Sitting on the Throne and the ritual of the full moon of blood is only one of the plans to welcome Abigail's arrival."

It's hard to advise a stubborn man like Kinsley. Allard could only watch without being able to prevent it. "That's your choice, sir. I'm just expressing my opinion. I'm sorry." Allard left the room.

The study that Kinsley was in was silent again. Even though Even must take care of many files, his mind is not focused on work. "Abigail, you wouldn't blame my selfishness on you?"

Upon returning from the Director's room, Alesya looked irritated and annoyed. She was smiling because she didn't get fired. But considering that she was made a joke, Alesya felt that Kinsley was playing her.

Bianca's sullen face was evident in her eyes; she was curious and asked, "Alesya, what did the Director say to you? Were you fired?"

Alesya sat back down at her desk and turned to Bianca. "I didn't know our Director was so annoying and weird. Come to think of it, and I didn't get fired as long as I wanted to be a servant at his house. Didn't he do that on purpose to get revenge on me!"

Unlike Alesya, Bianca just stared, surprised to hear what Alesya said. "Are you serious? Can you be made a servant at his house? But, if you think about it, being a servant in his house, I think I want to too. Which woman doesn't want to live in the Director's house, which people say is the most expensive Mansion with historical value and the architect? Alesya, you are fortunate."

"Huh. Bie, don't talk carelessly. How good is it to be a male servant like Mr. Director? It's bad luck! Never mind, don't talk about this anymore. My mood is getting worse, you know!"

Bzzt… Bzzt…

Bianca's cell phone, which happened to be placed on the table, vibrated. She saw an incoming call from Steven.

"Alesya, brother Steven called. It seems he wants to talk to you," she handed the cell phone to Alesya but was refused.

"Yeah, just pick it up, Bie." Bianca picked up the phone from Steven.

"Bie, is Alesya beside you? I want to talk to her."

"Ah yes, wait, brother." Bianca gave her cell phone to Alesya because it was Steven's request, so Alesya had to accept it.

"Stev, what are you calling me? It's still working hours. If anyone saw it, they would call me an incompetent employee."

"Sorry. I just wanted to ask, why is your cell phone off? I called you earlier to invite you to meet my parents this afternoon. We have been in a relationship for more than one year, and I want to introduce you to them."

Alesya fell silent and remembered that someone would pick her up this afternoon and take her to Kinsley's house.

Alesya immediately regretted something and was confused about how to tell Steven.

"Stev, I'm happy you want me to meet your parents. But I'm sorry, this afternoon I can't come with you. I have important things to do and can't postpone."

Alesha glanced at Bianca to see her reaction when she refused her sister's invitation, and Bianca seemed silent. Alesha knew that this was bound to happen.

"Alesha, are you in trouble? Why do you look worried? If you have work that cannot postpone, we cancel to meet my parents this afternoon. Honey, when you have time, you let me know. We will go together to meet our parents."

Alesha's heart is erratic, and Steven's kindness makes her feel burdened. "Thank you for understanding, Steve. I have to get on with work, see you. Love you, Steve."

"Love you to Alesha."

Call disconnected. Alesha put her phone back on the table.

Bianca, who had been watching Alesya's conversation, smiled mischievously. "Hm, will propose you, brother steven. My brother moves fast, and I'm terrified of losing. Hihi..." Bianca chuckled, holding back laughter.

Getting ridiculed by Bianca made Alesha feel a little relieved. At least she knew Bianca was fine and didn't mind her attitude earlier.
