Your're in my hands 2

Bianca was as surprised as Alesya. Nor did she know that the person her friend was referring to was Kinsley—the CEO of this company.

Bianca's eyes widened, and she patted Alesya's shoulder excitedly. "Gosh, Alesya! How do I know that person you mean? You just said that he was an arrogant man without saying what his name was."

"I wonder, haven't you worked here for a month? But until now, you just found out who your boss is, and what's worse, you argued with him in the office. I congratulate you for breaking the employee record for fighting with your boss. Now your fate is really on the line." Bianca spoke dramatically. She raised her hands, making Alesya even more annoyed and worried.

"Are you a friend or not? How dare you say that when I'm in danger of being fired? What should I do now?"

Bianca made a thoughtful gesture with her finger rubbing her chin. She tilted his head to the side as she spoke. "You'd better apologize. Who knows the Director who is rarely seen and only leaves a cold impression as he would forgive you."

Their conversation was interrupted. From outside the room, the Design Manager–Tommy Josh, came to meet Alesya with an unusual look.

"Alesya, sorry to interrupt. The Director is calling you to meet him in his office now." Tommy said without taking his eyes off him.

"Okay, I'll be right there. Thanks for telling." Alesya, constantly being watched, looked uncomfortable, looked away from the computer, and pretended to type something until Tommy left.

"Alesya, it seems that Manager Tommy likes you. Whenever he comes to see you, he looks weird and seems to cover up." Bianca whispered.

"Shut your mouth, Bie. Do you want me to cheat on your sister?" Alessia replied. She looked at Bianca's behavior with a shake of her head.

"Oh my gosh, I forgot that you're my sister-in-law's nominee. Oh, I'm sorry, sister-in-law." Bianca chuckled, remembering that Alesya was the lover of Steven Clark Morgwen—her sister.

After Tommy's departure, Alesya got herself organized and prepared to meet the man she called arrogantly. "Huh, forced to take the ultimate move on that arrogant man, so I don't get fired," Alesya muttered.

Alesya walked out of her room and took the elevator to the President Director's room. On the 25th floor, the elevator stopped. She came out, and not far from the elevator was a room that said President Director Kinsley Rodriguez.

As Alesya walked along the 25th floor, she looked around and observed the place she had visited for the first time.

"This is the first time I have been invited to the Director's room while working in this office. Alesya, remember what you must do to avoid being fired," she said.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Alesya slowly knocked on the door, "Director, may I come in?" Asked Alesya, standing in front of the door.

"Come in. I've been waiting for you." A voice replied.

Alesya opened the door and slowly walked towards the large table with the man focused on the laptop. Alesya looked around the room and saw a small nameplate on the table that read Mr. Kinsley Rodriguez.

Quiet atmosphere. Alesya stood nervously, her head lowered, not daring to look at her boss.

"Do you know why I called you here?" Asked Kinsley, who was still struggling with his laptop.

Kinsley's words startled Alesya, who was nervous; she lifted her head and saw that her boss was still busy with work and ignored her.

"Um, sorry, sir, I don't know why the Director called me," Alesya replied, pretending to be insensitive.

"Because you have slandered me in public. According to the contract, I fired you and will sue you through legal channels." Kinsley said calmly and coolly, without anger or irritation.

It's time for the final move. With a sad face, Alesya dropped her body on the floor while putting her palms together and pleading. "Mr. Director, please don't fire me. I live alone and have no family. If I get fired, how will I survive, sir."

"That's none of my business. You're the one who's been causing trouble with me. Unless—" Kinsley stopped typing. He lifted his face and looked deep into Alesya's eyes.

"Except what, sir? Will the Director give me a chance?"

"Unless you want to be a servant in my house, I will consider not firing you," Kinsley said slyly.

Crash!

Alesya, who heard immediately, stood up and pounded the table. "What the hell? Are you doing all this on purpose to make me your maid?" Alesya demanded.

Kinsley's patience was put to the test. He had been silent for a while, but Alesya kicked the table. His emotions soared. "What are you doing in my study? Did you know pounding on the desk is also a form of impoliteness and violates the code of ethics at work? I could easily add rudeness to your blacklist!"

Alesya is mad. She smiled and as pleaded. "Sorry, sir, I made a mistake. Please don't take it to heart, sir; I was joking. I want to be a servant at your house as long as I can still work." Alesya made a bargain with her boss.

Kinsley, who heard Alesya's words, smiled with satisfaction. All is according to plan. 'Finally, the sacrifice for the ritual is within my grasp now. Wait for me, Abigail!'
