“Hey! Are you ok?” Ivy asked her as she walked into the room with Cassidy behind her.
Ivy had managed to run away from the Silver Moon Pack. She’d used her mate bond to reach out to Cain, and luckily for her, Cain and Calypso were returning to their new home from a mission and she happened to be along their path. Because of unforeseen circumstances, she’d been away from Cain for six months, and they couldn’t have been happier to be with each other. No-one could find her though.
No-one could find any of them unless they wanted to be found.
“I’m fine,” Calypso managed a smile as she wiped away a tear.
“Oh sweetie!” Cassidy hugged her.
“I miss him so much,” Calypso whispered.
“Did you visit him?” Ivy asked.
“I can’t! We have guests coming in,” Calypso sighed.
“It would’ve been his birthday today, and he was your mate. They’ll understand,” Cassidy argued.
“I’ll go once we’ve dealt with them,” Calypso promis
She looked up at them with bright blue eyes, her pendant glowing. She was shaking violently, and the tree behind her split in half as she growled. She looked like she was forcing herself not to shift. The pack members were terrified by what would come next.“What’s wrong with her?” Wyatt had asked, standing beside his Alpha. As the Enforcer, he had to be front and centre.“She’s trying to keep herself from hurting you,” Cain explained.Rolf scoffed. “As if she could hurt us!” “Please don’t test her!” Cassidy pleaded when Calypso’s eyes brightened.“I’m not afraid of a tiny little girl like her!” Rolf spat angrily. Calypso growled loudly, half shifting as her golden fur shimmered a little in the light.“PLEASE!” Cassidy shouted. She knew that Calypso would kill him, and she didn&rsquo
She giggled as she watched the little boy run up the path to her. An exact replica of his father, his stormy eyes were gleaming with excitement as he ran towards his mother. Vee, the girl who had been looking after him for the day, was right behind him.“Alpha, I’m so sorry, but he really wanted to see you,” Vee apologized just as the little boy jumped into his mother’s awaiting arms.“It’s ok Vee! I actually needed him here now,” Calypso smiled softly.“Ok! I guess I’ll leave you to it then,” Vee excused herself.“Mommy,” Aiden giggled, playing with her hair.“Hi my angel,” she smiled. She’d been blessed with little Aiden six months after the death of his father. When Calypso found out that she was pregnant, she had to channel her thoughts away from her anger a lot of the times. She had needed to keep her stress levels low for the sake of her baby, and
Silence had settled on the room as Cassidy clutched her throbbing cheek. Her anger was boiling over more than the pain she was feeling. She may be a strong she-wolf, but the Warriors were still stronger, and Dumont’s slap had left her face feeling hot from the pain.“Get. Out.”Calypso said through gritted teeth. She was shaking, on the brink of a shift.Kevlar scoffed. “You have no power over us!”“But I do! Get outside and shift!” Nathan commanded. Dumont had no choice but to follow the Prince’s order.Calypso started to undress as she headed outside. The pack members who were around, followed the group outside, curious to see what would happen. Dumont got outside and shifted. Calypso sent Nathan a look which he understood. While he still couldn’t read her thoughts, he’d learnt to understand his best friend. She wanted Kevlar in on the fight too.“Kevlar, shi
She and Cain had been alerted of yet another attack in their neighbouring pack. Alpha Alois Mc Call, Alpha of the Bright Star Pack, had called frantically called them as soon as he’d caught whiff of the rogues. They’d formed an alliance with him, so their response was instant.“Mommy! Where are you going?” Aiden had asked her.“Mommy needs to go and help her friend ok? You’re going to stay here with Vee and be a good boy right?” she’d smiled lovingly at her son.“Why?” he’d whined.“Because mummy will be back with treats,” she’d bargained.“Ok!” he’d giggled before hugging her legs.“I wove you mummy,” he’d beamed. Tears filled her eyes as she knelt to hug him.“I love you too my baby, so much,” she said before kissing his forehead.
She woke up with a gasp, clutching her stomach. Sweat coated her entire body, and she was pretty sure that she was crying as well. Her heart was beating incredibly fast, and she was sure she would suffer from a heart attack. The little hand that reached out to wipe away her tears brought her attention to her terrified son, worried siblings, and thoughtful best friend. The four of them were staring at her as she tried to get her breathing back to normal.“Aiden came to find us when he heard you scream, but we were already on our way,” Cassidy said quietly. She realized that it was just barely sunrise.“It was the worst one yet,” Calypso whispered.“What was it about?” Cain asked her.“The day I escaped,” she replied. The adults in the room went wide-eyed at the revelation.“Do you know where you escaped from?” Nathan asked her.“No, but it was days away, and I killed the
Weddings. They are said to bring about different emotions and feelings out of everyone involved. The bride to be becomes bridezilla. Her mother becomes too attached to her and the wedding planning. Her father still doesn’t trust the soon to be son in law.The groom secretly panics about everything his fiancée panics about. His mother secretly wants to be in control of everything. His father is stressing about the overall bill. The Maid of Honour tries to keep the ship afloat. The best man looks forward to the stag party and getting revenge on the groom for something that happened in the past. The bridesmaids fight for the best look, even though they are all wearing more or less the same dress. And not forgetting everyone else looking forward to the wedding drama.Samantha Lion and Jordan Williams’ wedding was apparently not any different.Jordan rubbed his
“How did you know?” Calypso whispered. Cain and Cassidy were just as curious to find out.“Because I know what it’s like to have that much responsibility,” Nathan offered a small smile.“It’s true! I am afraid of coming out as Alpha. I mean even facing the Warriors had me freaked out and all at first. My wolf is the Alpha in me, but we all know how she is. I wouldn’t be able to face anything or anyone without her,” Calypso explained. While all werewolves are able to communicate with their wolves, Calypso couldn’t. Her wolf would only make an appearance when threatened, but they wouldn’t communicate. Since her first shift, her pendant hadn’t spoken to her either.“You’re a great Alpha Cally-Cals. Besides, you can just tell her that you’re not going without us so that we’re there with you,” Cassidy pointed out.“Cass is right! Hell, even I&rsqu
Calypso had run the entire afternoon and night, and only made it back in the morning to find Nathan already waiting for her in her room. Cassidy and Ivy had already packed her bags for her, and everyone was ready to leave.“Are you ok?” he asked her.“I am now. Are we all good to go?” she asked.“Pretty much! Everything’s in the SUVs. We’re just waiting on you. I’ve packed you some food and you can nap on the way there. You’re travelling with me and Aiden, while Cass, Cain, and Harlan are taking the one SUV, and Bradley, Truman and Kevlar the other,” Nathan informed.“They’re coming along?” she asked in shock, in reference to the Warriors.Nathan chuckled. “Apparently they want in on the wedding drama.”She raised an eyebrow. “And Sam agreed?”“They’re Warriors. She can’t say no,” he reminded.“Oh!
