Chapter 27.2

Peter came in to view with eyebrows furrowed, and his hands in his pocket. He glanced at his sister, giving her a questioning look but the latter gave him a quick smile before turning to her book on the table.

"Let's go. They are waiting for us," Peter uttered. I pointed myself if it was me he was talking about. I already have a hunch that it was me but we have his sister in the frame and I can't take that out.

"We are going to golf, just like what Johnny said."

"Oh, okay."

I put my weight on my feet and turn to his sister. "We shall leave, it was nice talking to you." That wasn't a pleasant and peaceful talk I guess but at least she talked to me. That's all that matters.

She nodded while still on her book. I glanced at Peter and saw the questioning look on his face. Maybe he was curious about what we have talked about.

When he stormed out to go downstairs, I followed h
