Graham's POV
I stayed in my room. To give them space. To stop looking.
But I couldn’t.
Every laugh dragged me back to the window. Every sound of water made me lean closer. And every time my eyes found her- Janessa- I lost myself.
The way her body cut through the pool. The way water slid down her skin. Her curls stuck to her neck and back, her chest rising and falling.
Christ.
“Ten years as a widower, Graham. This is what you have to show for it.” I mocked.
Nothing had done this to me. Nothing had ripped through my chest like this girl.
I dragged a hand over my face, trying to breathe. But I couldn’t stop looking.
Weak. Addicted.
And then, her eyes flicked up. Straight to the house. To my window.
My chest stopped. Did she know? Could she feel me watching?
I jerked back, heart pounding. But seconds later, I leaned forward again like a fool. Like I couldn’t survive without seeing her.
One of the girls floated close, leaning in, whispering against her ear. Janessa laughed, head tilting, lips parting.
My jaw locked.
And then the girl kissed her.
Right there. In front of everyone.
Heat shot through me so fast I gripped the curtain. I almost stormed out like a man possessed.
Janessa froze for a few seconds. Then she laughed. And kissed back.
Kissed her back!?
While the girl’s hands roamed.
“Yoo..”
“You go girls.”
“Dayumm.”
“Such a cute couple.”
Everyone whistled and cheered, while I burned alive.
My lungs felt crushed. My pulse hicked wildly.
What was she doing? Why was she letting someone else touch what I- God-what I wanted?
She smiled against the girl’s lips, and my body broke apart.
I wanted to drag her out of that pool. I wanted to throw every single one of those girls out of my house. I wanted to be the one doing the kissing.
Yeah. I said it.
Instead, I stood there, fists clenched, blood rushing so loud I couldn’t think.
And then, before I could even breathe again, she was climbing the high springboard with some others, bouncing like she didn’t care.
I noticed she was too close to the edge. She was going to fall!
“Janessa!” I barked when I saw her slipping.
My body moved before my head caught up. I was out of my room, down the stairs, through the crowd.
She lost her balance, and I caught her- arms locking around her before her head hit the ground.
“My God, Mr. G- you saved me!” Her voice shook against my neck as she opened her eyes. Hands gripping my shirt.
The girls squealed. “Nessa, he’s your hero!”
“Relax, Mr. Caldwell, she’s fine,” someone teased.
“Join us Mr. Caldwell.”
But I wasn’t listening.
I couldn’t look away from her eyes- wide. Bright. On me like no one else was there.
"Be careful Janessa.” I whispered.
Even though my chest heaved and my arms stayed around her longer than I should’ve. She felt small. Fragile. Mine.
“I am, Mr. G.” She grabbed my biceps, steadying herself.
Too much was going on in my head…and body.
I set her down on a chair, and tore myself away before I did something reckless.
***
Later that night, I couldn’t sleep.
Every second replayed.
Her mouth on that girl. Her body pressed to mine. Her voice calling my name. Her trembling.
I paced my dark room, fists tight, cock hard and aching.
“Get a grip Graham. Control yourself” I tried to calm myself, tried to breathe.
Nothing was working.
Then my door clicked open. Footsteps. Soft and Excited.
Her.
I knew it was her before I saw her. Her scent hit me first, soft and sweet, curling straight into my chest.
She walked in, silk nightgown brushing the middle of her thighs, ass raising the back up.
“You girls!" she squealed, chatting carefree like her friends were here. Until she looked up.
And saw me.
Shirtless.
“Oh.” Her lips parted.
Her eyes dragged down my chest, then snapped back up. She swallowed, glancing around.
“Sorry, Mr. G. Wrong room.”
But she didn’t move. Didn’t leave… not immediately.
We stared at each other.
My breathing was rough. Hers fast. The air was too tight, pulling us together whether we liked it or not.
Then she shifted. I moved first. Quick. Eager. Closing the gap until I was right in front of her.
“Is there a problem, Mr. G?” she whispered, soft, but teasing.
I didn’t answer.
I let my thoughts consume me- and pressed my mouth to hers, pinning her against my wall.
“Ah” Her gasp melted into me. Her lips opened, and my tongue slid in.
She met me with fire, kissing me back hard. Hands clutching my chest like she’d waited for this as long as I had.
She was sweet. Addictive. Dangerous.
I deepened the kiss, rougher, hungrier.
“Hmmm.” She moaned into my mouth, and my control snapped.
My hands slid down, gripping her round ass. Squeezing. Pulling her flush to me.
“Ahhh.” she sighed when my cock pressed against her stomach through the silk.
I lifted her.
She wrapped her legs around me, already grinding. Damn. My head fell back, a growl breaking out of me.
“Fuck, Janessa.”
She tugged my hair, lips finding my neck, sucking. I slammed her harder against my wall, eating her mouth until we were both breathless.
I dropped her, but only so I could fall to my knees.
My mouth found her skin. Kissing from her feet up. Slow. Worshipping. I slid her gown up and her thighs parted.
“Mr. G-” she moaned.
“Don’t call me that,” I rasped, looking up at her. “Not now, Mr. G wouldn't do this.”
Her eyes went wide, lips parted, chest heaving.
She placed one hand on my head and one on her pussy. I kissed higher. Her calves, behind her knees, her thighs. Her hip. The edge of silk.
And then my mouth replaced her hand when she began to touch herself.
“My God, Jesus Christ!” Her moans made my body stand at attention.
I sucked on her pussy. Finally tasting her arousal as my tongue slid over her and darted into her hole.
“Fuckkk.” I groaned against her, devouring.
She was so intoxicating. Her cries filled the room.
“Place your thighs on my shoulders.” I ordered and she did.
My mouth worked her until she shook. She tasted so fucking good that I wanted to drown in her.
“Grahaaam. Shit. Oh my Fuck. Graham!”
She gasped my name over and over, thrusting against my face, pulling my hair.
And I didn’t stop. I couldn’t stop. I was gone.
Voices drifted outside the door. We froze, breath ragged, our moans dying into muffles.
“Didn’t you say it was this way?” a girl’s voice asked, hand rattling the knob.
Janessa’s eyes shot open- panic flashing through the haze. I pulled her close, chest to chest, hearts pounding in sync.
The doorknob turned.
Our eyes met- wild, breathless, undone.
And then the door began to open.
Shit! Too late.
Chapter 17Janessa's POV Graham ignored Rupert entirely. But the fury in his veins promised this wouldn’t be the last time he and Rupert had words. He led us out. My body softened against his with relief. He called the captain and had him turn the boat. He was silent throughout the car ride, busy on his phone at some point. In no time we were back in our hotel suite.“What's the problem?” I asked, watching his arms shake as he struggled with his tie.He didn't reply.“Hello. Earth to Graham Caldwell,” I called. He only gave me a tense and accusing look.“Alright.” I backed down and walked to the bathroom. Clearing my makeup tools.I wasn't gonna drill a grown man to talk to me about something obviously irking him. The room was silent as I got to work. And I thought he had cooled down.“Why did you let him speak to you that way?” He finally asked, standing at the door.“What?”“Why didn't you stand up for yourself? Or shut him up. You're very capable.” he asked again, eyes shooting
Chapter 16Graham's POV; The change in her body was subtle. One second playful, her curves shifting under my hands, the next- stiff. It was instinct more than anything that made me turn.I noticed the familiar figure. There he was.Rupert. Of course.“Janessa,” his voice sharp. “What are you doing here?”He had no business speaking to her. He’s been the thorn in my side for years. A rival I never gave the dignity of acknowledgment. If I were a man who took bait, Rupert would’ve owned me long ago. He never has. Never will.He was staring at Janessa like she was something left out on a silver platter. And hell, this was a reservation-only restaurant. What were the odds of him being here?I smoothed my thumb over Janessa’s side, pulling her closer. Grounding myself in her warmth.“Rupert.” I kept my voice even. “Lose your way?”He smirked. “Couldn’t help myself. Saw you sneaking out. Thought I’d see what was worth skipping the mayor’s toast.”His gaze dragged over her. “Seems I was ri
Chapter 15Janessa's POVThe doors of the banquet hall swung open, bright chandeliers reflected on glossy hardwood floors. The room smelt like money and power.A hush rolled over the room. That subtle dip in conversation when every head tilts toward you. Toward us.I didn’t need a mirror to know I looked good. Graham’s hand rested at the small of my back, proud, almost possessive. He was smashing in his black tux perfectly tailored to his buff physique. Hair pulled back in full waves. Grey strands peaking bright.Like my personal knight. As I scanned the room, my stomach flipped.“Graham,” I hissed under my breath.“Are we in an episode of Succession? You didn’t tell me who’d be here.”There were Ministers. Executives I’d only ever seen on the news and magazines. Leading women and men.“Is that the mayor!” I whisper-screamed.He glanced down at me with that calm smirk that always drove me crazy. “So what?” he murmured. “They’re just people.”Easy for him to say. He was used to this w
Chapter 14Graham's POV We lodged into a new hotel. Different location. Luxury. The suite door clicked shut behind us, cutting off the world. Silence settled, heavy but soft. Just us and the thrum of my pulse. She stood by the floor-to-ceiling windows. Late sunlight catching in her curls, making her glow. My chest tightened. I crossed the space and wrapped her in my arms. Her cheek pressed against my chest, her arms circling my waist. “Finally alone,” I let out a breath.“Hmm-mm” she sighed against me. The soft surrender I’d been craving all day.No hiding, no daughter, no mother, no interruptions. Her lips curved. “You’ve got taste Mr. G. Five star hotel. Snobby staff. Creme de la cremes.”I shot her a look and she rolled her eyes.“Gray-ham.” She corrected.“Of course I have taste. Look who I'm with.”She smiled.“Do you know, a group of us wanted to rent their conference hall for a business event once. Staff refused. No ‘college kids’.”Her eyes glinted with mischief. “I got a
Chapter 13Janessa's POV Alesha’s eyes darted between me and her father like she’d just stumbled into a soap opera.“Wait… why are you turning red, Dad?”My stomach dropped. My knees actually wobbled. Busted. He forced out a laugh, like a man pretending and failing at it.“Excuse me if I find it shocking to hear my daughter talking about daddy and sex.”Good save. Graham. Good save.Alesha had the decorum to look ashamed… At least for about three seconds.“Well Dad, you’re the one who came to us. I told you it was girl stuff,” Alesha shot back.I added, my voice too high-pitched: “He’s right, Alesha. He’s embarrassed you’re calling random men zaddy, duh. Let’s have a little respect for his presence, yeah? I waved a hand, faking calm, “Save the gushing for booktok.”Smooth, Nessa. Real smooth.Graham cleared his throat. “Exactly.” His voice was rougher than usual, but he was playing along. Too well.Alesha squinted, thinking.“Hmm. You’re right. Sorry, Dad.”Then she leaned closer,
Chapter 12Graham's POV “Oh. My. God. Janessa. You Slut!” Alesha's high-pitched voice and Janessa's sudden movements woke me up.For a moment I thought I was dreaming. The sharpness of Alesha’s voice sliced through me, and reality slammed in.I looked up at Janessa, she looked down at me. Without thinking I threw myself off the bed and she doubled down, pushing me. I slammed into the cold floor and rolled under the bed, dragging the duvet with me. Pain flared across my ribs but I swallowed every sound like it could get us caught.“I can't believe you!” Alesha's laugh filled with scandal and delight.Under the bed narrowed into dusty air and mattress springs. Janessa’s breath was soft and quick above. I could see her ankle shake. We couldn't be caught this way. Not now. Not like this- Naked, elated, hiding- with my daughter's best friend. “Alesha, it's not what you think.” Janessa replied, walking towards her.I should be there. If we were outed. Janessa shouldn’t take the fall w
