Chapter 37

“I don’t remember much. All I know is when I woke up, I was here already. There was nothing and no one here.” The boy started his story.

Senna scooted closer to him as he was starting to talk. Amilia found debris that was protruding from the fallen column not far from where she was standing, and she sat there. She was listening to the boy and was watching Senna intently. Her father left her in her care, and Amilia would be responsible if anything would happen to her.

“You don’t even remember your name?” Senna asks.

The boy shakes his head as a reply. He hangs his head down, looking ashamed. Senna was restless, she finally crosses the gap between her and the boy. She gathered his hands on her own and squeeze them. Amilia didn’t let a single action go unnoticed.

“Don’t worry. We can help you, right Amilia? We can wait for your friend to arrive and help him, right?” Senna’s eyes were hopeful. The boy threw Amilia some hopeful look too.

They are in this together.

“Yes. I suppose so.
