Kylie's POV

The room smelled of sweat and sex, the air thick and heavy against my lungs. The sheets beneath me were twisted, damp, clinging to my skin like a second skin. It was uncomfortable. Also, every inch of my body throbbed—from the ache between my thighs to the soreness in my shoulders where I’d clutched the mattress too tightly. My lips were dry, my hair plastered to my face with sweat. My body didn’t feel like it belonged to me anymore.
