Chapter Twenty-Nine

Opening my eyes, I prayed for the ground to swallow me but it was useless. I walked forward and stood in front of her.

Why would she call my name without adding Sophia's name? Even though I promised I would save Sophia, they didn't hear the conversation. She was trying to get me in trouble so I would receive the punishment alone.

"Yes ma'am."

"Guilty?" Blake asked, his eyes red with anger. The more he tried to save me, the more I got in danger.

I nodded. "Yes master, I'm guilty but it wasn't intention. I went to look for Henry, one of the slaves who was missing and I found the man unconscious on the floor. I helped him without knowing he was a vampire."

Princess Kieran slapped me in anger. "I don't blame humans, you're always thinking you're the best. No one asked you to help anyone but you did. You'll definitely pay the consequences because the vampires are asking that we send you over to them."

My head..... This was more than a punishment.

How could they send me to the vampires? I
