LOGIN“My dear mate, you shouldn't have tried running away from me. Do you think I'm a monster too?” He growled into my ears, his hands wrapped around my waist tightened slightly, and I feared he might snap me into two. I stared up at him and flinched when I saw his eyes switch colors. I wasn't scared of him, but damn! It looked like he was going to kill me. Rejected and betrayed by my first mate, the moon goddess offered me two more but I was going to pay for a sin I didn't even commit!

Trusting and loving my mate had been the only mistake I made in this life.
I was jolted awake by the sound of heavy boots thudding against the wooden floor.
“Get your asses off the floor! It's time we get you all sold.” The warden yelled angrily, the groaning of a few female omegas filled the air as they pushed themselves to their feet.
Not wanting to be left behind, I stood up from the cold floor, legs trembling, every muscle in my body ached at that one action.
“Strip!” The male warden said once more, his words had me scoffing softly.
Is this what I had been reduced to?
Two weeks ago, I never imagined I'd be brought to a place like this.
Two weeks had been a long time but still it didn't do anything to heal my broken heart, the cruel words of my mate were also a reminder of how foolish I had been.
“We aren't destined to be together, Hezzin. So, I am sorry but we have to end this.” Marcus's words replayed in my ears numerous times, like someone had just given me a death sentence.
The lounge we were standing in had been decorated to the nines, but it wasn't for me.
“What do you mean by that?” I asked coldly, my wolf already standing at attention and I could hear her growling softly at his words.
“You heard me, Hezzin.” Marcus said calmly. “But in case you did, then listen well. I, Marcus Denver, reject you, Hezzin Silver, as my mate.”
My heart clenched painfully at his words, I placed a hand on my chest hoping to soothe the pain.
“How could you?” I said, my voice barely above a whisper as tears ran down my cheeks. “After everything I did for you, I loved you Marcus and this, this is how you repay me!”
I yelled, but all I got in response was the sound of people chuckling at my words.
The girl seated beside him smirked at me and his friends, they basked in my misery. Marcus didn't stop them, he never did.
Seeing how pale his face had gone, I knew he was feeling pain from the rejection, but he said nothing about it. Instead, he smiled.
The fucker, freaking smiled at me.
Why?
Why reject the bond the moon goddess created between us? What exactly did I do to deserve this?
Marcus and I had met when I was twelve and he was fifteen then.
He had been trying to escape the grasp of his abusive parents and I snuck him into my room several times. It was at that time I found out we were mates, but before that, we had always relied on each other.
We never argued.
What was the reason for this rejection?
I moved from where I was standing before I knew it, grabbing one of the wine bottles from the table. Without hesitation, I smashed it against the table, shattered glass falling to the floor then pointed the sharp end at Marcus.
“If you fucking think you can leave me. Then you're…” I paused, wanting nothing more than to stab him in the chest with this bottle, but then I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head.
The bottle in my hand slipped from my grasp, falling to the floor and shattering into small pieces.
I let out a scream, clutching my head.
“I can't believe you actually gave her that drug.” One of Marcus' friends, Owen said and I twisted my head to stare at him despite the pain I was feeling.
“You fed me something?” I asked in disbelief, my eyes landing on the juice I had drunk, sitting quietly on the table.
“Ha! You just noticed that now? Love can really make one do foolish things.” The girl seated beside Marcus giggled, “I guess being an omega makes your thinking capacity low.”
“Shut the fuck up bitch?” I yelled at her, taking a step closer to where she sat.
But my legs trembled slightly, almost giving out under me. In an instant, everything felt unreal, my eyes settled in Marcus' cold face that held no remorse for what he had done.
No wonder they had urged me to drink more.
Today was supposed to be the anniversary of being friends for six years.
He had invited all his friends over, and I had just thought we'd celebrate it together…alone. But when I saw them, I welcomed them without complaining.
“Marcus.” I seethed through my teeth, feeling all the strength in me drain away slowly.
I had no idea what he fed me, but a guess popped up just as my vision started getting blurry.
I kept my gaze fixed on him, wanting to see if he would apologize.
All the years we spent together, hadn't been in vain right?
My heart thudded violently against my chest, as I watched my ex-mate stand to his feet.
He came to stand in front of me and the last words I had before passing out was, “Happy anniversary, Hezzin.”
****
So that was it.
I had been brought to this shit hole by the one person I loved and trust me, if he appeared in front of me again.
I'd reap his face off with my bare hands.
“Marcus made a huge contribution to the team.” The owner of the slave house said to the warden. “Bringing in five different girls, I'm impressed.”
I wasn't. His words made my stomach churn in disgust, how many girls had he deceived? The Marcus doing all these things wasn't the one I fell in love with.
I clenched my fists, glaring at the owner's back with nothing but hatred in my eyes.
For six good years, all I ever did was love and support him.
I loved him so much that I ran away from home just to be there for him.
I trusted him so much, I sacrificed everything for him. My position as Alpha, my wealth and my fame from being an assassin… In fact, everything!
And where did that get me? In a fucking slave house.
Looking back now, I regret not killing Marcus and all his friends the moment I found out he drugged me and then kill myself.
Raised by a father who taught me everything I needed to know, I should've listened to him when he warned me about Marcus.
Maybe this was karma for all the innocent people I had killed in the past.
“Get into a single file all of you!” The male warden yelled, his voice echoing through the hall. His large potbelly bouncing and almost bursting through his clothes.
I frowned in disgust, scanning the area for an exit.
I had tried to escape numerous times, and the warden had Informed security to keep an eye on me. But even with the tight security, I had to escape.
They were going to sell us out and I didn't want to be here for that.
“You!” The warden called out, coming to stand beside me. “You'll be last.”
He placed a hand on my shoulder, his grip tight and I could feel his fingers digging into my skin. I winced, moving back with him.
After being stripped and forced to bathe under their watch, their humiliating comments about our bodies made me gag but it finally stopped after we got clothed, even though it didn't make that much of a difference.
The clothes were nothing special. They were all short and revealing, making most of the girls, including myself, uncomfortable.
After that, we were passed around and treated like literal animals until we finally reached the venue for the auction.
My heart raced in my chest as the loud chants of werewolves and other beings filled the hall, but I couldn't see due to the black bag that had been placed over my head.
A few omegas had started screaming and struggling to avoid being sold, but it was useless. I was useless.
Not when I was in the same shoes as theirs.
“$150,000 for this rare Cresian omega! Going once, twice…!”
“200,000”
“Can I get 300?”
“$300,000!”
“Sold!” The auctioneer yelled, banging the mallet on the pace.
I kept my gaze lowered, carefully standing in place as the noise grew louder, cancelling out the sound of my he
art pounding against my rib cage.
“You'll be up next in a moment.” The guard announced, ripping the black bag off my head and pushing me forward.
HezzinI am an omega, but I have my own life to live, and I wasn't going to let any man dictate how it was going to be.I ran away from home without blinking, and I was going to do it once more. When we walked out of the dimly lit room, the cold stranger finally released my hand. Why? Because there was currently a large, slightly buffed man walking right behind me.Thankfully, they didn't place a bag over my head or a blindfold. Meaning I had a chance. Walking on my own, I watched the auctioneer sweet talk the cold stronger. Even the guards that were walking around us seemed tense, I frowned.I had a vague idea why they seemed scared, but it wasn't my business. Once I escaped I would like to see how they'd explain, of course while in their graves. Without the bag on my head, I could see the layout of the building as we were led through a dark corridor.Their shoes padded softly against the polished tiles. I was currently barefooted but the cool feeling from the tiles had me sighin
Hezzin. Small gasps and whispers echoed through the hall and even I was shocked by his claims. Me? A moon hybrid? Was this some sort of joke or had Marcus lied to them about what kind of wolf I was. This wasn't the first time I’d heard about moon hybrids, I heard of them as a child. My mother talked about how she wished to actually see one in action. They were omegas who were sought out by Lycan King's and even a few Alpha's in times of war. I thought they didn't exist, so why was I being called one? I scoffed, I didn't want to get in trouble with the client when they found out I wasn't what the auctioneer claimed to be.I looked back at the crowd that had now turned restless, their gaze fixed solely on me and it made me take a step back. “We start the bidding price at two million dollars!” The auctioneer began. “Three million dollars!”“Four million dollars!”“Four million dollars, going once, going twice…” “Fifteen million dollars!!” A fat man seated just in front of the sta
HezzinMy hands beside my body curled into fists, fear crawling into my body slowly as I fought the urge to dash into that stage and find a way to escape. The pressure from the high ranking wolves has my omega wolf whining softly. I had to take deep, shaky breaths to calm myself. “Sold!” I heard the auctioneer say. “Let's go.” The guard placed his hand on my lower back, already leading me onto the stage. I need to escape, and it's now, because I refuse to be a slave to an arrogant wolf. I'd rather than let that happen, but before that, I'll make Marcus pay for doing this to me. Even if it's the last thing I do. As I came to stand beside the auctioneer, I felt cold sweat running down my back as I lifted my gaze to see the large crowd staring up at me. Their lecherous gazes trailing down my body. At first, I felt irritated but when my gaze landed on a man with a gold mask on. “Mate!” My wolf howled. The pull I felt after was faint, but undeniable. “Don't tell me…”“You aren't
