تسجيل الدخول(Zorya)It was Caliath. Why was he here? His blazing eyes found Xalik, who had turned his posture casual. “Where is she?” He questioned, hands fisting at his sides. Xalik humorously gestured with his eyes towards me. I curled up into myself, trying to make myself small. Caliath’s rigid body turned and found me on the floor. A hint of relief flashed through his hardened features. Was it true, or did I imagine it? Was he relieved that I was alive and he could continue to abuse me? The yellow slit in his eyes narrowed. Slowly, I stood up on my shaky legs. “Master!”With a furtive glance and a flare of his nostrils, Caliath turned towards Xalik. “You think I don't know what you tried to pull,” Caliath said, low and dangerous. “Elaborate,” Xalik nonchalantly added, not at all fearing him. “You wanted to humiliate me in front of all the Alphas by claiming my slave. You knew she was off limits.” Xalik smirked. “You said, any slave. And I had an account to settle with her.” Caliath
(Zorya)I was a mess when our lips finally parted. My heart was rolling like a drum behind my ribcage. Xalik's dazed and ravenous eyes found me as he slightly tilted his head up. “You are an addiction, Zorya.” His fingers erogenously traced along the sensitive skin of my back. “The one I won't be able to get enough of.”This was a dangerous game we were playing. A game that could lead to our deaths, and yet I didn't want to stop. He laid me down, gathering me in his arms. My cheeks burnt deep as I confessed. “This was my first real kiss. Thanks for making it memorable.”His eyes darkened at my words. He deeply inhaled and exhaled for a while, trying to gather himself. I knew he understood what this implied: that I was a virgin when Caliath took me. “I am sorry, Zorya. I wish you weren't stuck here.” His eyes held his truths, and I reassuringly smiled at him. “I know.”“Tell me something about yourself.” His fingers gently stroked my hair back. “What do you want to know?” “What'
(Zorya)I had never dated or shared a consensual kiss before. In my sophomore year, Dradin Thomson, whose mother was a nurse, randomly dropped a kiss near my lips and ran away. It turned out he had a secret crush on me. When I complained to his mom, he got scolded and never approached me again. I devoted myself to my studies and never got a chance to pursue dating after that, until Caliath came along and ravaged my lips and my body without consent. I had always wondered what it would be like to willingly kiss someone I loved. Was this love I had with Xalik? It wasn't; it was merely our shared trauma which had brought us together. I barely knew anything about him. Who he was. Where had he come from? Who his family was. Was he a shifter? What kind? But at the end of the day, did it matter? He was my protector. A hope to continue living in this hellhole. The beats of my heart always doubled whenever my gaze found him. His pain resonated in my chest. I longed to see him, to be with
(Zorya)Xalik's words and indifference terrified me. Deep down, I knew he was merely saying all that to keep up appearances. He didn't mean it. What if he did? No, no, I couldn't be wrong. A constant battle my thoughts fought. What I felt with him was real. His touch, his care, his actions. He couldn't fake it all. Canara threatened me, wishing death upon me, and I wasn't even surprised. I had said or done nothing to that woman, and yet she wished pain on me. Xalik dragged me along, and I absentmindedly followed. What other choice did I have? I didn't cry; I had no more tears to spare. Once the door closed, his rigid shoulders instantly dropped. The hard expressions mellowed down to worried ones. He stepped closer, placing his gentle hands on my upper arms. “Forgive me, I only said all that so they won't suspect. I didn't mean it.” He vehemently shook his head. “I swear.” Blood splattered across his handsome face; some had even dyed his hair red. His shoulder seemed in bad s
(Xalik)I felt dead inside. I had believed killing Madric would bring me relief; it didn't. Numbness crawled over my skin. I couldn't even feel the pain from my wounds. My heart had darkened, slipping into a void. The killings, the blood, the gore. I craved some semblance of peace. It turned me selfish, especially when I saw her, dressed up in an elegant silver gown with a proper hairdo. My body desired her, my heart longed for her touch, my soul screamed to hear her sing. I remembered Canara making a hollow promise. That I could choose any slave I desired if I won the tournament. She only made that promise knowing I didn't touch females, never showed interest in them. She knew I didn't want anyone and wouldn't choose even if given the freedom to do so. I had been bound to her by a master-slave bond. She thought I would always remain as her slave, not even thinking of choosing another woman. She thought wrong. Additionally, her brother confidently told me that I could have whomev
(Zorya) Xalik spun in his hold so fast that Madric couldn't comprehend. He extracted his leg and hit the back of Madric's neck with a kick with his other foot. “Whoa!” The crowd erupted in astonishment. Even Caliath's body felt a sense of excitement seeing Xalik slip from Madric's death grip. A barrage of kicks and punches rained down between the two before Xalik landed a straight kick to his chest. It connected, followed by grunts from both men. Madric tumbled to the ground. The cage rattled from the impact. Xalik hovered over him, a mountain of muscles and sweat. He didn't hesitate to place his bare foot on Madric's hulking chest and press him down. His steely hand callously grabbed Madric's thick neck, his face a mask of cold and angered focus. Madric clawed at his arm, trying to breathe. His sharp nails dug into Xalik’s skin, drawing blood. My heart trembled and ached seeing Xalik bleed. “Go Xalik!” The crowd roared behind him. Madric's legs thrashed on the cage ground
