CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

The cloud was dark, it looked like it was about to rain. Mirabella stood by the window and stared outside the breeze blew heavily across the window side and she shivered she went back to lay on her bed. They were two other patients in the ward that just laid hopelessly on their beds she stared at them and refused to be bedridden. She'd try to fight for her life even if she was getting weak, she won't give up just yet.

Michal was in the room with her sister and Catherine went to get food for them at home.

"Are you still mad at mom?" Mirabella asked.

"Mad?" Michal directed her gaze on Mirabella. "I was never mad at her." She lied.

"I know you are Michal." She scratched her hair, her long hair was now the definition of short and scanty she had lost some hair since she began Chemotherapy.
