Sabrina’s POV

I gasped, my chest heaving as my eyes flew open. At first, I thought I was still asleep, trapped in another one of those half-dreams, but then the sounds around me cut sharp through the haze. Chaos. Screams—shrill, heart-splitting screams. The crackling roar of fire. The thud of running feet. Somewhere a child was crying, a sound so piercing it made my throat burn.

No. This couldn’t be real.

I staggered forward, my body pulling me like I already knew where to go. The heat thickened with every step, the smell of burning wood choking my lungs. A house loomed ahead, flames tearing through the roof. A family was trapped inside. I could see them through the broken window, their faces lit with red light. Two elders stood outside, shouting, begging them to come out.

My stomach dropped. I knew this place. I knew this scene. I had seen it before.

One of my dreams.

I froze in the dirt, my pulse crashing in my ears. Why was I here again? Why this dream of all things? I thought I’d

Damon’s POVOn a second thought. I needed to see Sabrina myself. Even after I was told she was awake and fine, I needed to see her with my eyes to be well-rest assured.I walked as fast as my legs could carry me, nearly running through the hallways, my chest heaving like I had been running for miles. By the time I reached Sabrina’s room, the door was already wide open. The room was filled with people, mostly the kitchen staff and other workers in the pack house. The second I stepped into view, people made way for me, their faces carrying shock when they saw how frantic I was. I didn’t mind their stares and searched for Sabrina. She lay on the bed, her eyes open and she looked aware of her surroundings. The pack doctor hovered beside her. He lifted his fingers, “How many can you feel Miss Sabrina?”Sabrina opened her mouth but couldn’t speak. She weakly raised her hands and said two. “Do you know this woman here?” He gestured to Nannybgessa and Sabrina nodded. My entire body froze. It

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Sabrina is awake

Damon’s POVIt had been three days. Three long, torturous days since Sabrina had fallen unconscious.Three days of me watching her chest rise and fall, the only proof I had that she was still tethered to this world. Three days of praying to the Moon Goddess for mercy, for a miracle, for anything that would bring her back to me.Nymeria had found her lying on the ground back at Urmi’s old house back at the Ironfang pack forest. When Ian carried her in, pale and unmoving, I thought my world had ended right then. My heart had stopped in my chest. For a terrible, breathless second, I thought she was gone. But she wasn’t. She was still alive. Just… trapped in a sleep I couldn’t reach her in.And that, somehow, was worse.Every hour she didn’t open her eyes felt like another blade sinking into me. Every second she lay there silent was another weight crushing me, making it harder to breathe, harder to even stand. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t think. I only stayed by her side,

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Maybe she’s dead

Damon’s POVI stood in front of all my workers in the main hall, the weight of their eyes on me as thick as the air pressing down on my chest. I had ordered every single person in the pack house to gather here: workers, elders, children. Amaria could’ve taken any form.I paced slowly across the polished stone floor. My eyes dragged over each of them, and I made sure no one dared look away. My guards had already sealed the borders. If anyone tried to run, they wouldn’t make it three steps before being torn apart. Amaria was here, and she wasn’t slipping out of my grasp again.Amaria had overplayed her hand this time. I knew she couldn’t cast spells in whatever body she was hiding in. She had drained herself dry. Her stench would betray her sooner or later. The putrid rot of flesh long dead. It was only a matter of time before I caught her.I stopped pacing and lifted my head, letting my voice ring out, cutting through the heavy silence. I told them all what was happening. “A witch is a

Sabrina’s POVI was in an exceptionally good mood this morning. Yes I was sad when I woke to not see Damon beside me, but the memories of last night came flooding in and I was elated again. Me and Alpha Damon kissing! I was almost certain he felt the same way like I did. I was in this mood until the moment I stepped into the kitchen. The mood instantly reminded me that we had lost one of us. I wasn’t as close to Polly as the other girls who have spent years with her, but I equally shared their pain. How could I forget her? How could I walk around smiling when she was gone? The guilt pressed down hard, dragging my mood along it. Instead of grieving properly, I had been acting on selfish desires, sneaking around with stolen moments in Damon’s arms, replaying the taste of his lips. My throat felt tight, and I blinked back the tears that threatened to fall. The kitchen was solemn, everyone quiet. Today was the day of the cleansing ritual. I truly wondered how the pack will move on from t

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Nymeria’s help

Author’s POVAmaria sighed, adjusting herself in front of the vanity. Her borrowed reflection, Urmi’s face, started back at her. She was quite the beauty, Amaria thought. How many layers of deceit could one woman wear? How long before the mask cracked and the world saw what she really was? She tilted her head, scrutinizing the image. Perfect. Convincing. Urmi’s beauty was still intact, serving its purpose. The blood she had taken was enough to keep her identity sealed a while longer but she needed more. By tomorrow, it’s effect will start wearing out. Taking wolf’s blood, their souls particular, made her scent like one, and even amplified the scent of the person who’s form she took. She bad been avoiding going to meet Damon since she heard of his return, mainly because she wanted her new scent to marinate. He would easily catch her if she was not careful. She had learned patience over centuries of waiting. Now, Urmi’s scent had settled fully into her skin, but not for long. Amaria
