The next week flew by, and though he met with his father, Kathleen had avoided going to the house. When he met with his mother to talk about things and how they were going, he explained that Kathleen was still getting used to the idea of the house and the friendship they had. It was sometimes overwhelming for her. Though he knew she was more scared of meeting his parents and having them think she was something she really wasn’t.
