A Drunkard Fool

"Eh, Miss Becker, it seems like a cat got your tongue. Can you talk?"  Aaron was waiting for an answer from Jessica.

"Cheer Aaron, take it slowly. Our little girl may be surprised by your generous offer."  Another young master advised Aaron.

"Ah, am I surprised you babe?"  Aaron's gaze fixed to Jessica and he intended to come closer to her. Alas, Harry pushed him back to his chair. 

"That’s enough, Aaron. Don't bother her!"  Harry didn't really want to interfere, but something in his head told him to intervene.

"Why are you also interested in Miss Becker? Wanna play a hero?"

"My taste is much better than yours. Miss Becker is Alicia's confidant, can't you give her a little respect?"

"Am I showing an unrespectful attitude toward her, Harry? I’m being nice here, you’re the one accusing me as some kind of jerk. Am I doing something wrong, sister Alicia?"

Aaron was basically gutless. A moment ago he tried to tease Theodore by saying Alicia was an old woman. Then he came to harass Alicia's secretary and even wanted to steal her.

Because Aaron mentioned her name, Alicia happily opened her mouth again.  "It's okay Harry, I understand Aaron is just joking. Our Jessie is indeed a little shy, so I hope you will understand."

Jessica was only Alicia's secretary, but Theodore knew very well how Alicia treated Jessica like her sister.  Even on several occasions Alicia would defend her and ask Theodore to maintain his attitude towards Jessica, but today Alicia acted as if Jessica was nothing to hee

Did Jessica do something wrong to Alicia?  Theodore briefly thought about this.

"Miss Becker, no need to be shy in front of us. You even managed to get Aaron's attention with a single pull. You should be happy about this."

Until now, Jessica was still clenching her mouth.  Her gaze cooled as time passed. Getting a glance from Aaron was a curse for him. She wished to be invisible. 

"Miss Becker is indeed a very attractive young woman," another guy praised Jessica's courage to remain silent and indifferent after all the seduction that had come to her.

"Our Coldrick boy is probably blind if he’s not take a glance. Should he be dating you secretly, sweety."

Harry was startled by the voice next to him. Looks like someone tucked in their words. It seemed that the alcohol had influenced Benedick's brain and made him speak nonsense.

"Ben, you drunkard fool!" Harry successfully grabs his tonic and alcohol. No more drinks for fools. 

  

"Heh! Compared to Alica, doesn't Miss Becker look good with our Coldrick boy?"  Once more nonsense leaked out of Ben’s mouth.

Alicia and Theodore could hear him even more clearly now. The pair's gaze darkened.

"Hey Aaron! Didn't you say that Alicia was old? What do you think if Theo was with her? I thought they would make a good match. After all, she’s young and no less attractive than Alicia. Ah, no!  She seems even more beautiful than Alicia. Cough! "

Alicia didn't know Aaron would dare to say something like that behind her back.  Does Theodore also know this?  Alicia was sure that Theodore would not stand by this.

In the first place, who would Aaron call an old woman?  

Who said Theodore seemed more compatible with Jessica than Alicia? 

Who tries to worry about age in their love affairs?

"Benedick, come to your senses. What are you saying? When did I say Alicia is old?" Apparently, Aaron is more than just a loser with a big mouth.  After Ben mentioned this in front of Alicia, he immediately dodged it.

"It's a pity for him to ignore you, Miss Becker. Cough! You know what, you can be my little bunny if he’s not planning on keeping you."  The drunk man had indeed lost his mind.

Even Aaron didn't have the mentality to say such things. Jessica was Alicia's secretary after all, how could he possibly deserve that glance from Theodore? It was already a gift that her face could attract his heart. For a girl like Jessica, there is no way she will end up with Theodore, except to be his mistress.

"Get rid of him!" Theodore immediately took instructions.

Some guards come and throw Benedick away from the club. Indeed, Ben tucked a lot of mistakes from his lips. The first, called Alicia an old woman, said he was blind and then paired him with Jessica. Theodore was patient enough when Aaron mentioned this earlier, his patience has reached its limit now. 

After a long silence, Jessica opened her mouth to apologize to Alicia.

"I'm sorry for the fuss, Miss Weisberg…" Jessica's low voice was barely heard by anyone.

What is she apologizing for?
