CHAPTER 16

Allessandra's POV

Over the past twenty three years of living on earth, i've never looked forward to anything the way I did when it came down to me spending time with Malcolm.

Over the past few weeks my routine has changed completely. It would be work in the morning where I day dreamed about Carter and then my afternoons would be spent in the abondoned tree house or the park with Malcolm. We didn't do much besides open up about each other more. I found out he came from a rich family and that was all to it. He was a tough nut to crack and I felt as if I was dealing with a puzzle. He was a complete mystery to me but that didn't stop me from spending time with him.

The thing that bothered me most was that he was a wolf. unlike me who would never be blessed by the moongoddess with a mate he would be one day. I couldn't help but feel as if he would slip through my fingers like sand.

I did try to push those thoughts aside and savour every moment we spent together and it somehow helped whi
