In the following days, my determination to set things right intensified. Tala, though willing, was bound by her beta responsibilities, leaving me to navigate this challenging path alone.

Fueled by desperation, I found myself at the doorstep of Ulf's mother. Despite the bizarre nature of our relationship, I couldn't ignore the compelling need for her guidance.

"I'm surprised you came to see Luna. Is everything alright?" she inquired with politeness after I sat down.

I managed a reassuring smile, discreetly scanning for any sign of Ulf, well aware she wouldn't appreciate our interaction.

"Ulf isn't home," she disclosed as if anticipating my unspoken query.

"She left a moon ago to spend time with my sister in the neighboring pack." Relieved, I sighed and responded to her offer of coffee with a polite decline.

Instead, I delved into the purpose of my visit, confessing my intention to establish an organization for abused women who couldn't find their voices.
