Chapter 15

The light flicked on, and it fell on Eva standing in front of me with a smile on her face. I nearly punched the stupid grin out of her face, because she actually scared me.

“What the fuck?” I cursed, staggering back, until my back hit a hard body behind me.

I turned around to see a man standing right behind me. He was way taller than me. His hair was brown and long, and his eyes were the lightest shade of emerald I have ever seen. His nose was perfectly straight, his jawline strong and sharp, and his teeth were sparkling white. He was the most perfect man I had ever seen.

Since I was standing with him here in the room with Eva, I could tell it had everything to do with how he was her boyfriend that she was waiting for to come back from retreat. He was the man I was planning on getting from her, and our first interaction was not what I had expected.
